Oh no, I didn't know she was part of that Q-Anon-esk campaign. For anybody who doesn't know: In early 2021 when the intensive care units have been overloaded with sick and dying people and care takers were at the end of their tether a bunch of german (speaking) actors got organized around a TV director (who as later came out had affinity to Q-Anon groups.) They each did a short clip with "ironic criticism" on COVID measures. They would make fun of masks, one was breathing into trash bags (while approx. 80.000 people at that time had died in Germany alone, many of them suffocating), they insinuated the German state would be on track to turn into a dictatorship and people would not be allowed to be critical of measurements openly, which obviously is and was not true. They basically did not add anything constructive to the debate, fueled conspiracy theories and were incredibly disrespectful towards sick and dead people. The project really boosted the Q-Anon and Nazi scene in Germany. Many of the actors took their videos down and apologized after strong criticism from the public (and colleges). Her video is still online so she decided to keep it up. Soon it became clear that the whole thing was a coordinated campaign from the right wing Q-Anon-affiliated group, in which the director and Volker Bruch (Babylon Berlin) were involved. The actors probably/maybe did not know about that coordinated background but the statements really do speak for themselves and make it clear what kind of background they have. Volker Bruch soon after the video became a member of the political party "Die Basis" which is very Q-Anon. Sad to see that she was and still remains part of this. I don't think I can enjoy her work anymore untarnished.
