I went with a push pull set up on the Lian Li using a 240 in the side with 13900K. Works great and temps are fine.

Great timing on this! I’ve been going through your content the last couple of days while agonizing over my fan choice and setup for the Air Mini. I have a 240 AIO and mATX MB for a 7800x3d and 7900xtx. I think I am going to put the AIO in the side, 2x140s in front and bottom as intakes and for exhaust 3x120s in top and a 120 in rear…but I’m not sure. The 3x120s in the bottom look awfully good.

I made a build with the Air Mini case and 11 SL-Inf, the three above and the three below with 15mm plastic spacers to avoid hiding the infinite mirror of the fans behind the edge of the glass panel once mounted. To do this it is necessary to mount the two 140 fans frontally (without a metal frame) simply using 4 cable ties.

Air mini all day every day. The corsair one is so weird. It's so big and only place for a mini or matx motherboard.

Agree 100% .. It's as if Corsair never wanted to compete against the air to begin with, which is perfectly fine. In my eyes, they are simply selling a "design", and nothing else. It is absolutely massive, and you go for the mini, well the Corsair is 10 cm longer 😂

The air mini's major letdown is no 360 AIO top support, all the case needs is to be a little longer and it would be perfect.

12:25 regarding the problem of the hard disk cage creating interference with the cpu cable connected behind the motherboard, it is actually not a real problem. There is an opening in the cage right above the 4+4pin connector (12:48), so you are supposed to insert the cable inside the cage and get it out of the aforementioned opening, but you will have to sacrifice a 3.5 slot.

3:15 Corsair has some quality stuff and great software, but let us be honest, the expectation is to buy at least 3 rgb fans and spend 60 more € on top of 160€ for the case. Or even more. 😮

I'd wish Lian Li would make a more vented top panel as an accessory.. Taking off the top panel lowers my fan rpm with about 500 rpm, on tripple radiator custom loop.

They look similar, but Air mini 's quality is far beyond corsair heads. Air mini panels and frame is rigid, you can tell Lian Li put a lot of effort into their design and superb quality there is literately no flex opposed to 2500D or in fact any of corsair cases wobbles a lot so after while it feels like waist of money. I have 540 air and 2500D Air, both aren't even close to the superior finish of Lian-Li

Question about the O11 Air Mini: Is it possible to use ATX 7 slot mode with an Arctic Rad (+fans = 65mm) with consideration of the offset brackets?

I wish the Air Mini was designed with the idea of mounting the radiator on top when using ATX mobo instead of at the bottom

You definitely shouldn't mount a radiator on the bottom unless it's in a custom look system

@@xSeanok yeah, that's what I'm saying. Even though I use a custom loop. I hate radiators at the bottom because it's harder to bleed the loop.

Your description states that the 2500D can hold either 3x 120mm or 2x 140mm in the top and bottom, yet the official specs say that it can hold 3x 140mm in both. Might be worth trying to fit a third one in there^^

I checked this and did not see 3x140mm as a supported configuration, unfortunately. The 6500D does support 3x140 top and bottom.

Lian Li O11 Air Mini to me is better as it fits ATX and comes with fans. What I wish the Air Mini had is the same front fan brackets like the Corsair has.

New builder here. I understand that this aio is to long to be put in the front on this case but I’m curious as to why you choose to mount the aio as exhaust at the top on most of your pc builds as opposed to the front as intake?

That'll vary wildly depending on what you've put in there.

@@TheProvokedPrawn What about the same hardware configuration in both and normalize variables, then if you wanted to spice it up you could try different fan configurations, between 120mm and 140mm, or intake and exhaust. There seems to be more internal volume in the 2500D and a difference in side mounting depth. Likely very time-consuming but it would be some interesting data. Might also be better to do the comparison between the Dyanmic Mini vs Air and/or the Corsair 2500D vs 2500X etc.
