Yea if your going to give me one or the other I’d take the Lambo but if I gota buy the car I’d take the Z06.. faster and more affordable. The Z06 is just a better all around car. I know I own one.

The OutCast Hater. It also had a stage 3 front splitter which adds more downforce. Manual C7 Z06 with stage 2 or 3 spoiler vs LP610-4 kzfaq.info/get/bejne/rdZ8ga6CmbCtcqc.html There is only 1 mph difference in trap speeds and if you ask how I know it's a manual, it's because of the shifting. This one is an A8 with stage 1 spoiler, so it would obviusly pull on it. The Huracan might start catching after 300 kmh in the roll.

It's a great video. However, the voice to txt function is not good. 1st example is the speed in the quarter mile he spoke of. A car's speed isn't referred to as "reps". It is called trap speed, or "traps". Just sayin'. Love the non music!!!!

Not really I’m a bette owner and those 610 -4 hurcans will be on your door to 140 after 150-200 they will go on by for a slight victory. They make less peak power to the wheels but they are lighter , less aero drag, more rpm, no heat soak and more power under the curve = longer power band and time in gear

@@speedlife301 lol, there aren't many chances to race beyond 140 unless on a high speed track. Speeds between 150-200 are inherently dangerous and impractical. I'm a Vette owner but I like both cars in their own ways. But I agree with you that Huracan would pull away at very high speeds due to less downforce drag.

Excellent demonstration of horsepower on both vehicles. Great job and quality vision for the enthusiastic ones. I myself had similar results at the same distance 30 mph roll start with first Dodge Hellcat, Audi R8 10 cylinder and Lamborghini Huracan 10 cylinder. The Z06 hooks in a blink with hard A8 shifts point it straight and you know! I took my 2016 Z06 / Z07 3LZ with full track package to AAA Drags over here and let a light weight driver that knows how to hook and go and he got left lane single pass ET 10.30 @ 136 mph. He told me that he can do better i said that's plenty. Five Stars ***** to your Silver Bullet Z06.

This is an incredible video. My bad I didn’t get back to u about how I feel about the comp seats for me I like the way they hold me in position from moving sideways n love the look over the gt seats. It's not hard to beat the sound of that V10 when you have a Z06. The Z sounds way better at a full growl and kicks its ass. Now as far as looks, it's a toss up for me, I'm just more biased towards the Vette. Throw in the ZR1 and it's all Vette all day!

I race a lot and got rid of both my vettes for a Ferrari made exotic. I honestly haven't ran across a stock Z06 pullin that hard. Drag times usually records the factual times. I'd have to witness this in person to believe it.

Lamborghini cost much more to up keep and the interior is a joke compared to other mind engine cars. The corvette is amazing and just shows you don’t need to speed all that money to go fast. My Zo6 has a pulley kit on it and omg it’s on supercar performance beyond belief. Plus I have one of the highest mileage Zo6 with just shy of 67000 miles and she runs perfect. Just my two cent. Corvette since 1953 and staying strong!!!

I just love your videos! And I cant wait to see more, I would love if u could do a comparison with a Zl1 A10. I have a few questions on the 60 to 130 caluclations/ stats u have given. It all started because I have a ZL1 A10 2018, I had a roll race with a Zo6 from 60 to 110, and I pulled ahead around 3 car length and I was surprised so I did some research and calculations for 60 to 130 for comparisons. First as a baseline for my calculation as per chevy the zo6 for manuals and auto respectively they are for 0 to 60 3.2s and 2.95s and 1/4 mile 11.2 and 10.95 both trapping @ 127mph. Which means it's 8 second from 60 to 127 mph for both manual and auto. What is still missing is how long for the 3 extra mph. In ur video u mentioned zo6 60 to 130 is 8.43 so only 0.43 for the 3 mph. Now for the zl1 auto, Its 0 to 60 in 3.5 and 11.4 for 1/4mile at also 127 mph as per dame source chevy, which is 7.9 sec from 60 to 127 mph, if we add same factor as similar engine it should be 8.33 or let's make it 8.5 to be extra safe. Is it possible that it is as fast or faster 60 to 130 in comparisons to both hurcan and Zo6(manual or auto)? Also for the hurucan 610-4, its 0 to 60 in 2.8 and 10.6 for 1/4 mile @ 133mph as per motor trend stats, which is less than 7.8 sec from 60 to 130, why is there a big gap with the video 8.95? I am assuming full throttle n momentum @60 mph Why is it in the other video you posted Lp610-4 , it listed the fast list 60 to 130 for the Zo6 manual, auto, n the hurucan numbers from 7.6 to 7.9 significantly faster than this video 8.43 to 8.9 sec

Hey thanks for the comment and question. I do have a fan submitted/DA verified time of a A10 ZL1. I can't release it until I do the episode where I finalize the Fast List at the end of the year, but I'll tell you it is slightly faster than a Z06 (both auto and manual). So the 8.43 time mentioned in this video for the Z06 are the UNCORRECTED times which means that I did not do the DA correction down to sea level which is what the Fast List times are. Keep in mind that Pocono Raceway is often 4500' above sea level in terms of density altitude and that makes a big difference on a gas combustion engine. The Huracan's corrected 60-130 time to sea level is 7.91 seconds. I'm not sure if you watched that solo acceleration episode. The 8.95 run in the video was done in manual mode which is generally slower than letting the car shift itself in the Huracan. The faster Huracan times were achieved shifting in sport auto. Also keep in mind that any of these other published times often do no publish DA or record DA to begin with, and every car is slightly different. So a tenth of a second is a negligible margin of error for even the most stringent test here. To answer the question, the key word is uncorrected. The Fast List times are all corrected to sea level DA. Hope this helps.

@Zhenxiao Yang Depends on gear for the Z06, 1-2 shift I aim for 6000 rpm, for 2-3 I aim for 6200 rpm, and for the rest of the gear I aim for right below redline around 6400 rpm. This is for the automatic, if you have a manual you can push it a little higher.

@Zhenxiao Yang Same problem, the auto Z06 has that annoying delay between paddle and actual shift execution. Once you see the pointer hit 6200, you should pull the paddle (act as if 6200 is the redline). 1-2 may actually be sooner than 6000 RPM now that I think about it, it happens so fast that sometimes I don’t take any chances and just go for it around 5500RPM and it’ll execute by 6200.

Thats crazy that in auto mode and in corsa, the Huracan was still behind, but the corsa mode was close. The Corvette ($80k-$100k) is 1/3 the cost I believe, if the math is right, of the Huracan and still was a head. Guess the American saying, "Bang for your Buck" still stands, haha. Both are great and each of their own kind.

At the end of the day, you're really paying for exclusivity and branding. Although, many of the car meets around me have more Huracan's than Z06's now 😄

Close, a fully loaded Z06 just barley scratches $100k, whereas a base huracan is about $200k I believe.

Yo I don't like drag racing because everybody thinks if that's important and it matters to Everyday situations. But seeing this honestly is so much better and I get to see realistically what each car will do as opposed to what it can do while on the freeway. It still surprises me that my little Eco can smoke a 392 or Daytona and I actually have the footage, but when it comes to off the line Maybe there will be a different outcome.

Lol. You have it backwards. Drag racing is something people do daily because we have to stop at red lights all the time . Roll racing rarely ever happens in real life because most people realize going 100+ will put you and your car in jail. Fyi....your little eco may have smoked A 392 , but that is not going to happen with most 392s, with a good driver, on most days......

Same, I just don't like placing all that stress on my drivetrain and in a 1/2 mile race, the launch doesn't matter quite as much because so far, it's all about trap speed at those events. Also, too many cars these days rely on launch control, gearing and fancy tech to achieve a fast 0-60 and 1/4 mile time whereas in the real world, the outcome will vary.

I can't remember exactly I gotta recall the data but it was over 3500' DA so pretty bad for numbers.

Great race Dan. I understand your point about the sound of the V10 but do you think it's worth the price difference to get it along with the Lamborghini name?

If I had the disposable income, then hell yeah. I would buy the Huracan over the Z06. But given money doesn't grow on trees, the Z06 is still the best bang for the buck here.

@@SpeedLabsMotorEnvy If you had the money why would you settle for the Huracan? The Avendator LP is the top of the line Lambo and the V12. 790 HP...It goes 0-60 in 2.8 seconds and it top ends at 220. It is a more expensive and a faster car than the Huracan. In fact, it would dust the Huracan. The Huracan is like a mid level Lambo. I agree that the Z06 is the best bang for the buck and it looks quite exotic to me...go Chevy. I am not sure I would get the Huracan...I would either go all out for the Avendator or I would get the Vette and invest the rest and enjoy riding in a great performing American sports car.

@@stuarth4296 Because we only are comparing these two cars in this video - Huracan and C7Z06. But if we widen the scope, I still would not go Aventador. Having owned a Gallardo, driven both Huracan's and Aventador's, I can say that the Huracan is much more of a driver's car. The Aventador is bulky, cumbersome, and hard to maneuver in tight situations. And based on your comment, you're talking about the newest iteration of the SVJ, which is well over half a million, and that budget is hard to compile into any comparison. (Although I do have a McLaren 720S vs Aventador SVJ video somewhere.)

@@SpeedLabsMotorEnvy I saw where a Huracan (a very modified one) set the record at 259 MPH for the half mile...so I can see your point, especially the way it handles even with the AWD. Since I have driven neither, I will take your word for it (but I have driven a Corvette ZR1, and a McLaron P1 and an NSX). It seems the Huracan is a favorite of a lot of guys down here in FL to modify and race...
