I just acquired a 1973 Fiberfab Valkyrie GT-15 mid-engine V8 with the updated Crown Corvair Transaxle. I am the 3rd owner and this car has never been assembled, brand new. Very cool barn find and excited to bring it to life.

I have a Avenger customized. Has a 455 CID big block.

I had one GTX - it had more glass in engine area for corvair motor - kit used Mustang rear and side glass

The gt15 based on a custom square tube frame using corvair components is actually the more labor intensive vehicle compared to a gt12 which used a donor (licensed and running) vw.

I been looking for one of these for years. A Banshee aswell. And a Sterling Nova. When you Google these for sale it pulls up old ads that a nearly 10 years old. A very rare find indeed.

Pretty cool. I saw one of them for sale a couple years back, white a one blue and one red stripe up and over the top, GT40 style. Pity I didn't pick it up.

Had a Valkyrie in the early 70's. Had a 400 small block and 66 corvair transaxle. Called it the "Plastic Fantastic", but by the time I sold it the name was changed to "The Fiberglass Pain in the Ass". Went through 5 transaxles. I could not ad a picture. Took it to the first Car Craft Street Machine Nationals in Memphis. Would have been great with a strong transaxle - but was not in the budget.

the ford gt is actually the modern one. i think you meant gt40
