Last year in 2023 when I watched Dino Fury at the last episode where Amelia kisses Ollie on the cheek and when I didn’t know that the producers were going to make Power Rangers Cosmic Fury I actually thought that Ollie and Amelia were actually in relationship but when I found out about the producers were going to make Power Rangers Cosmic Fury as the last season of Power Rangers I then found they Ollie and Amelia aren’t actually in a relationship

This has quite a few hallmarks reminiscent of Naga's evil stint. It leads me to suspect they might've already started conceptualizing how to adapt that, before it was decided Cosmic Fury would be a direct follow-up to Dino fury. Considering that the arc lasted like 5-6 episodes in Kyuranger, it'd been near impossible to skip, it's quite a lot of footage to just throw away.

Ollie’s evil form reminds me of Buzz Lightyear gets Demo from Toys Story 3 that Losto switched him. Especially, how Lord Zedd got his own gang and he evilized Ollie to join them and Lotso have his own gang and Buzz join them since he got demo.

This has bugged me for months: “triceratops” literally means “three-horned face”. So why does his evil helmet have six horns? What, did the spell take away his ability to count too when it stole his free will and ability to feel love? Plus Ollie has always been the know-it-all of the group; if his brain was still his own, the horn thing would annoy him especially.

I can see it. The whole deal with Drakkon is that he chose to stay evil. Ollie, meanwhile, has Zedd teaching him to forget the power of friendship. The spell got the ball rolling, but if Ollie truly internalized Zedd’s way of seeing the world, he’d be beyond saving.

For Ollie to have been a good leaning double agent was how I wanted the character’s arc to go down and it would’ve accommodated the actor’s bad schedule just fine, in fact, even before we knew about his schedule uncertainties, I wanted that.

The reason why ollie even became evil because his actor Kai Moya's schedule was full and was filming another movie and he couldn't fully commit to filming Cosmic Fury as a Series Regular Good Guy Ranger, that's why he was turned evil, so he has to film less scenes than his other Ranger Castmates, also that way he could film ON SUIT scene voiceovers from America (Power Rangers is filmed on New Zealand) via ADR. That's also why he was almost gone in EP 7.

Because the actor wasn’t sure that he’d be back to reprise his role and the writing team didn’t stop to think maybe him infiltrating the enemy to gain intel would’ve actually justified the 10 episode season.
