Literally the only slight issue i have with this is that I can only ever imagine TOM's voice as Steve Blum. Not that I hate his voice in this in this Just that I can't not hear him as Steve Blum in my head

The Total Immersion Events are basically that though. Not a traditional TV series but gives us something story related to Tom and Sara. The problem is those T.I.E. are the only things Toonami can come up with and be canon. While not impossible to make a Toonami TV Series that is not canon sort of like this, but still would need people to come up with a story long enough to fill a bunch of 22 minute episodes.

I think they made a few comics. I know of the Intruder one for Intruder III, Endgame and that Blue Falcon comic(unrelated to Toonami though but still something they were a part of).

They've been making the series over a REALLY long period of time. Look up and you can find the complete series up too present. There's couple hours worth of continueing shorts.

Like I know toonami tom from the shorts in between shows and such, but is this a pre-existing show that is featuring tom? Or a new show about tom? Or a short event about tom? And what is T.I.E? Sorry, I just am very confused lol I understand bits and pieces of the Tom lore but I'm not sure where or how they all connect.

Eh... not really. Reruns of King of the Hill are the highlight, everything else is just reruns of Seth MacFarlane IPs, Robot Chicken is slowing down, and they are pretty much ending all their good original content. And with the way CN is going, Toonami might actually replace Adult Swim completely. Actually that doesn’t sound like a bad idea. Anime is far superior to anything made by western media companies these days.

I actually kinda dig this, just a homage to the era of Saturday cartoons blocks. The wreckage scene that reminds me of freeiza floating through space and the fact that the cosmo samurai ship is right outta outlaw star, love it.

It is still Saturday Night just on at Midnight. It’s Adult Swim and they have to have their Family Guy, Bob’s Burgers, American Dad Fox shows as well as Rick & Morty before Toonami begins. So right now it is Midnight to 4AM on Saturday nights or Sunday Mornings depending on your point of view(Cartoon Network does not change to calling it Sunday at Midnight).

@@edtifa Yeah. I know that but it wasn't that way. They used to play anime all Saturday night from 7pm-4am. But they changed it. It just newer anime gets premiered so late that no one knows about it.

Olivia the Fandom Girl Toonami has never been on from 7PM to 4AM. 2003 they had the Saturdays from 7PM to 2AM but that was not Toonami. Then 2004 when that Saturdays block ended, it was replaced by Toonami from 7PM to 11PM and then Adult Swim came on after with some Anime. There was also the Adult Swim Toonami in late 2018 to early 2019 of having Toonami being from 9PM to 4AM but that didn’t get enough people to watch it that early. Plus Toonami especially Jason DeMarco doesn’t like having a bunch of reruns on the block. Like he wants it more short and mostly no reruns.

Yasuke is an actual historical black samurai who was a slave that was sold to Nobunaga Oda, The Demon King, who gave him his freedom and taught him the way of the Samurai. Just as quickly as Yasuke became famous, having a Japanese wife, a big house, and being rich he ended up becoming a slave again due to an uprising against the demon king lead by Mitsuhidei who banished yasuke back to his life as a slave and not committing seppuku due to either not knowing the same unspoken rules as asian people did, or because he didn't see him as a person.
