This is Cosmosky Orchestra, the orchestra which performs music from videogames and incidental music.
*incidental music: music which is played in movie, drama, and theater.
　Our Name, Cosmosky, is an coined word by putting the word "cosmos"(by meaning as expression of harmony and discipline)and a word "sky" together (pronounced as cosmo-sky).
　We would like to present you our "CHRONO CROSS Another Story" from our latest revival concert at OLYMPUS HALL HACHIOJI(Tokyo) on October 12th 2015.
　We are an unofficial orchestra and we greatly thank PROCYON STUDIO CO., LTD. and Septima Ley Co., Ltd. for permitting us to upload this video on KZfaq and deliver it to you.

And finding full on orchestral medleys to boot! You already know without any doubt; the maestro himself took heavy inspiration from Cross in the same way the rest of us did. I can't believe they actually added the "boinngggg" sound effect instrument from Termina. That's straight up amazing!

It's not that, it's that during the first 2 decades of gaming, most of the best Japanese composers were hired to create music for a MASSIVE amount of video games and a lot of those songs are completely out of this world, musically. Such as the Pokémon battle theme song, the entire Zelda ocarina of Time sound track is a pure masterpiece and 1000 others

全くゲームをやらなくなってしまった30才です。14年くらいやってないです。音楽を聞くだけで当時の記憶が思い出されるというのは比喩ではなく、良い経験をさせてもらったのだと感謝しています。今のゲームを嗜んでいる方々もそういうゲームに出会えることを祈っています。

We were envious growing up that you all got all the good games. These games are dear to my heart. After Final Fantasy 10 though the quality of Japanese role playing games went downhill. I’m glad to see Japan is returning to good form. My biggest issue right now is that the West is censoring Japanese games over here and in Japan. 皆さんが良いゲームをすべて手に入れたことをうらやましく思いました。これらのゲームは私の心に大切です。ファイナルファンタジー10の後、日本のロールプレイングゲームの品質は低下しましたが。日本が良い形に戻っているのを見てうれしいです。今の私の最大の問題は、西側がここと日本で日本のゲームを検閲しているということです。

言い方は悪いけど、名曲はゲーム音楽であってもこうやって残っていくんだなぁ。創られた世界に合わせた音楽だからこそ、現代では感じ難くなった自然への畏敬や畏怖といった感情を感じさせてくれる。このオケの壮大さと合わせて最高と言う他ない。

Dude we got this game in 2000 thankfully we did not have to wait years like other role playing games. I played this before CHRONO TRIGGER 😁😁 ありがたいことに、他のロールプレイングゲームのように何年も待つ必要はありませんでした。クロノトリガーの前にこれをプレイしました😁😁

クロノトリガー&クロノ・クロスを交えて、独り聞き入っていると… 時の最果ての賢者か。はたまた、ラヴォスと共に在るサラの視点(世界の始まりから終わりを視ている) の心地となって… 堪らなく切なくなります。子供の頃とは別に、年を取ってから聞いていると…自然と涙してしまいました。

This soundtrack never gets old. The amazing thing is that all of the instruments shine at some point, they're not there just because. It speaks volumes for Mitsuda, but also the arranger and the performers. Simply beautiful

Thank you for uploading this Cosmo san!! :) My friends and I were here last October (been keeping a close eye on you since we saw you 2yrs ago) and damn! still in awe at how you captured Chrono Cross' soul in this arrangement, it was different from the one you had before but still...just...pure...bliss! Especially when Hoshi wo nusunda shojo came in with that piano/flute then violin, my tear dam just broke, didn't want you to stop playing. Damn it I'm tearing up again!^^
