Greetings madam Flo and fellow comrades. In my opinion, I don't think the prices will increase for now unless the dollar goes beyond #1,900/dollar. Prices of building materials did not drop when the dollar rate fell , and I remembered that most Nigerians complained that the dollar drop didn't reduce prices of goods in some sectors of the economy. Once again, thank you for reminding those in the diaspora to invest at home. Most of them regret not investing when they grow old.

You mean you were not here when the price of cement went up to 13K and 15K? And now it's about half price. And rods? It's about the reality on ground not what Nigerians that have not priced building materials in the past one year are saying on social media.

Reduction in dollar price has to be maintained consistently for about three months before it can reflect on prices of goods.

Nne at the moment am trying to put a four flats upstairs but the cash, I am still picking them from my 9 to 5 pm. Almost all materials for foundation bought for now. , taking it one step at a time my sister. I no go kill my self

The one I dug last year was ₦450k. It can be less depending on the person you hire and the location.

East is a wide area to get a quote for a borehole because it depends on the water level in the area. Last year in our area the cost of borehole from the survey to drilling to piping to cleanout and every other thing was more than 4 Million Naira.

Onii where is that because even in Lagos and PH where you get water easily, that amount cannot even buy the sumo and the casings you need. Now sumo alone is about 300K.

@FloFinance Flo I've dug 2 boreholes in Lagos very recently, one at our building site and one at our rental because the landlord jacked the water bill up. We spent less than 200k on each, and that's including the pump.
