4000euro/year for careful living style of student. Rest fees etc you can clculate yourself. Usually all students gets job either in theor field or something else

Hi Sir, I'm a Finance manager in Bangalore, who is being offered the same role in Brno. I will have my wife (not working) & 2 kids (one is 6 yrs & other is 1.5 yrs) with me. I plan to take a 3+1 (2 bedrooms, living room & kitchen) for rent. I would like to save at least 20% of my net income (for retirement planning). We will cook food at home mostly; perhaps eat out once a week at a nice place & a movie once a month. No big shopping / alchohol / partying expenses. What is the minimum net (after tax, insurance etc) salary I should accept? I see annual tuition fee at International School of Brno is CZK 320K; which translates to CZK 25K per month. Why do you suggest private English medium education would cost CZK 50K per month per child? I'd be very grateful if I could have your feedback / insights at the earliest, as the salary negotiation process has just started...

People like you mostly accept 70k net salary. For locals it may look little large but for foreigners with children going to english school, this is minimum you should accept. Only exception is of you send your child to czech school then school is free and you can agree on less as well. Your child age os good tp go to czech school, considering you plan for longer stay in czech republic

Salary is good, you didnt mention the city but I think it must be Prague or Brno. Your child age is good and you can easily save 40% of you income even after rents, bills, outing with your mentioned life style.
