👉My name is Swapnil Jadhav, I am a Software Engineer by profession 👨🏻‍💻 . I am from a small village "Dhankwadi" which is located in "Yeola" taluka. So basically I am from Nashik(Maharashtra) and I like making videos in my free time as a hobby. I am trying to collect some memories to look back.

Nice info but not so realistic, since you are living very conservatively as you mentioned in the video. In Pune you don't even get good quality internet (Reliable operator like Airtel/Tata + Speed > 100mbps) in Rs 1500 for 3 months (i.e. 500 PM) For a couple or family of 3 people like this, average monthly cost will easily go around 40-45K including rent if you are living a moderate/okayish lifestyle. If you have a baby/kid, add another 10-15K. If you are staying in your own home (with EMI), add 15-30K more.

This clearly tells the picture that now its the time for companies to move to Tier -2 tier -3 Cities for their workspace. As you said 35-40K expenses is not affordable and manageable. Or best option permanent WFH.

Another point is, its not only important to know the cost of living but also the earning potential. Though you are saying cost of living is 30-35K, you would be also earning at least 1-1.5 lakh PM in Pune being in IT. Also, your brother staying with you might be adding similar amount so this cost is very much reasonable (being only 10 - 20% of your income) by which you might be still doing good savings for any other commitments or leisure. In small cities, expenses will be less but earning is also less. And WFH people know that its not going to be lifelong so sooner or later living in work city is must.

Bro it is obvious its a metro city now I live in Kharadi Wagholi road and if I am living in this lavish city then I should be earning 1lakh per month then cost of living will be super easy and for new people in Pune please try to get home near your office as Pune traffic will cost you 30 to 40 percent of your house rent and 8k to 10k is a general rent for average 1bhk in Kharadi location plus electricity Bill

Pricing in Tier 2 cities for housing is also rising, but it will be good if all such companies open 500-1000 seat office in every city across the country. this will drastically improve the living conditions in other cities and increase the local GDP of the smaller cities. Big cities like Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune are bloated mess. These cities are no longer sustainable and should shave 30% of their outsider population. WFH is here to stay, the sooner the corporates realize it, the better its going to be. Else big companies are going to see mass resignations post 2026 as the inflation and recession dies out.

State of house rent in Apr 2024 (Hinjewadi) 1 BHK 15k-22k 2 BHK 18k-27k Bahut mahenga hogya hai bc rehna idhar

So for family of 2, just couple living, occasionally parents visiting once a month or so 2BHK - 27K Grocery & Home utilities (Instamart, dmart, Broadband 100 Mbs, Netflix, electric, misc) - 13k Transit - 2k (Go to office once a week, some time not even that) Eating out, Movie - 5k In total spend 47k And not like we live so luxury like crazy expensive, just that rents have gone up so much. It takes our ~60% of monthly budget. And I pay 27k rent is like in normal descent society not like Blue ridge.

cost of living is vary as per location in Pune.. I think chakan is very cheap as compared all locations of Pune. Most of the hark working peoples is living in Chakan (as per manufacturing industry) because chakan is affordable in every aspects. And bacholers life in chakan is very cheap because 5 peoples are allowed in 1BHK and rent is around 5-6k. What do you think on it?

Chakan is out of Pune bro There are no IT companies in chakan...You'll get all the leading automobile/mechanical industries there

@@carlpei6570 ya i am talking about those companies only. Because i think whole pune is based on that. But still there is 4-5 IT companies including Capgemini in talwade IT park in chakan MIDC.
