If someone is migrating to London with family, staying in 1 bhk then monthly expenses wud be 2.2k and staying in 2bkk then expenses wud 2.6k. So we shud have a min take home salary of 3.2 - 3.5k pounds monthly. So overall annual income shud be atleast 52k-55k pounds for a family to lead at least a middle class lifestyle in London ( similar lifestyle if you are getting a salary of 12 - 14 lacs a month in india)... The latest is 2023. The cost of rent in London, especially east London where most south Indian live the rent of 1 bhk is £1000 to £1200. Council tax is high. The landlord will ask for your salary per annum. Monthly rent multiplied by 30 times should be your annual salary. Otherwise the landlord will not let out to you. Please ensure if landlord is ready to allow your child. Only then you fix the house. So council tax+electricity+gas+wifi will be £400 per month. The landlord will ask for 5 weeks rent deposit and ask for 1 month advance rent. So House rent cost initially is Holding deposit+5weeks rent deposit+advance rent. Monthly rent will be basic rent + monthly expense like council tax + electricity+gas +wifi So before you marry, calculate all these expenses

Next thing, for PR you can apply if you have stayed 5 years in uk for certain type of visas only. Like the student, PSW visa, global mobility visa are not considered for the 5 year settlement route...

You have to be in same type of visa continuously for five years, student/tourist/psw visas are not applicable for PR. You can go for vacation that’s not an issue as long are legal resident of UK

Bro, USA is lot better for money and luxurious life.. But couple dependents work panna mudiyathu, GreenCard romba kastam. I thought UK will also be the same, but it looks Germany is better than UK in Europe. Overall everywhere we have some plus and minuses.

That’s true! In US, green card is really tough and Germany is comparably easy but we have language barrier, we should know german to survive.. In my opinion, Canada would be good option for abroad :)

For the first 12500, no tax From 12.5k to 50k, 20% tax. Only for the amount Over 50k 40%tax not for the amount upto 50k. E.g. if a person earn 51k .. only for the 1 k it's 40% tax.

Scotland Tax slab: -21% Intermediate Rate if you earn between £25,296 and £43,662 -41% Higher Rate if you earn between £43,663 and £150,000 £42k PA would be good bro! but if the salary comes in 41% tax slab, then even £44k PA would not be a good salary!

Hello bro, first of all the cost of living depends on the city we stay in uk. If London I don't know you are getting ur facts right. 1 bhk is min 1100 in greater London and 1400 within zone 3 and 2 bhk is min 1400 above zone 3 and 1600 if within zone 3 (source - rightmove, zoopla) . Also transportation for a daily office commuter would be 150-200 pounds from zone 5. Easily monthly budget wud come around 2.2k to 2.5k for a family in London. And i know these info even though I am not in London and planning to come in Nov. A family can survive in 1200 pounds for a month only if they like a beggers. Please dont give false hope for people. Since you are staying in UK do proper research before posting the info...

Hi bro, I'm living in Swindon and my overall expenses for a month would come around 1200 pounds..My wife and I living in 1BHK. Your facts may be correct for people who are looking to move to London, apart from London, I believe my calculations will work with plus or minus 200 pounds. If I put video for the cost of living, I have to take the majority of areas rather than concentrating only on London
