Hi guys! Awesome that you guys give travel tips on your videos. We have a dedicated series for it. We love how great you explain it. Great that you stay 1 month in each place, it gives you a full feeling of the place where you are plus it gives you the time to work without feeling you are missing on the city you are. $120 Australian dollars isn’t bad at all for beer. Great info $1500 usd is awesome. Thanks for the great info !

Kampung areas are refreshing, especially fat away from city or cultural areas like Sabah. Being a malaysian ive travelled across malaysia including Sabah and Sarawak on an island vacation and being brought up in the city areas and seeing such strong cultural heritage and difference though still within Malaysia makes me proud of Malaysia♡ Malaysia is beautiful and hot tropical country with different people, race and religion. I think u can reduce the cost further, with a bit of adjustment. For instance, choosing an apartment closer to the LRT/MRT, using a water filter instead of buying water in 7-eleven (Malaysian water supply is generally safe but it's better to have a water filter in the apartment). But I guess for a foreigner, RM6k plus is not too burdensome. around US$1,500 plus.

I was really rather surprised by your total expenses. Nearly $800 a month for rent is pretty high - and is on par with what many nice one or even two-bedroom apartments in typical cities go for here in the United States. Overall, and having been to other countries in the "area," Thailand, Cambodia, Philippines, total expenses of ~$1,800 US a month is rather outrageous. People would be well-served to do a bit of research before assuming your monthly budget is typical.

Assalammualaikum nasser, Maybe u opt for hotels instead of Airbnb. Like most arabs, most of u guys have a big family and spending money for hotels could be very costly ( although the hotels in Malaysia r way cheaper comparing to the price in the gulf). Since I have a lot of arab friends, I know no matter what, U’ll still look for arab food. There r plenty of cheap arab restaurants in the city. Forget bukit bintang, those arab restaurants r very expensive. Go for the one in kampung baru or other places. Take Grab instead of taxis. And if u have female family members traveling with u, ask them not to wear Abaya. Habibtis in Abayas r symbol of 💰to some merchants. If u buy things from the streets, try to haggle abit. Hopefully these help 😊 May u have a good day ahead! Masalama 😉
