🇫🇮🇳🇬Thank you for this video! I also got a lot of good new information. Even though I am Finnish myself, I don't know these rules in detail. I have never asked my immigrant friends what they had to prove and what papers they needed.

Proof of Funds doesn't cost anything! It isn't a cost in any sense. It's proof that you have sufficient funds for supporting your living.

Does the Finland embassy accept certificate of investment/fixed deposit for pof?

It's not the embassy that makes these decisions. The national agency handling immigration permit process and making decisions, residence permit applications, is the Finnish Immigration Service, which is under the Finnish Ministry of Interior. Embassies are part of the Finnish Ministry for Foreign Affairs. They have an assisting role in the process.
