The City of Costa Mesa is searching for our first Poet Laureate! This new and honorary position will represent and promote poetry and literacy in Costa Mesa, while also increasing appreciation for the reading and writing of poetry and self-expression. This appointment includes an honorarium in the amount of $5,000 (two payments of $2,500), for a two-year term, which commences on September 2, 2024 and concludes on September 2, 2026.
