I got to explore the Caribbean side of Costa Rica: Puerto Viejo for 11 days. Since I went during rainy season my experience may differ from many as I feel as though I got to experience Costa Rica during slow season. This tends to be my favorite time to travel as you truly get to explore and experience a place and it's people in raw form. I did know someone who lived here prior to coming her name is Nana and I met her in Brooklyn (which I didn't film, there's a lot I didn't film.) She helped a tremendous amount in getting around efficiently and not getting scammed lol. She also organized the event that I vended at, which was so amazing. I met some super cool African Americans who all moved from the states to Costa Rica. It was interesting learning why they moved and what confirmed that this would be their new home.
