The Costa Smeralda is a new cruise ship that the Meyer Turku shipyard is building for Costa Cruises, a subsidiary of Carnival Corporation. The new vessel is delivered in December 2019. Costa Smeralda is the first LNG-powered cruise ship in the fleet of Costa Cruises.

Cruise Passion, your video tour of the ship is fine but, i notice that you only show all types of dinning setting. Your are not showing the outside or outdoor area of the ship cause it is raining outside, cause i notice the wet flooring of the outdoor. But on your video, you did not show the cabin area, how is the rooms? Bedrooms, bathrooms, recreations area. You only showing all dinning... Please next time complete your tour ok? Thank you...

Tornata oggi. La nave è splendida, diversa da tutte le altri navi costa. Il servizio come sempre attento e impeccabile, mi sono divertita, rilassata e stancata allo stesso tempo. Nulla da dire ma..... C'è un ma. Anzi più di uno. Le camere interne, potevo permettermi quella anche se avevo la partenza garantita ( dopo 6 crociere speravo in una sorpresa ma niente) sono davvero tanto piccole, il bagno però era un po più grande delle altre navi e ben rifiniti. La nave, logisticamente l'ho trovata un po complicata, ma quello è sicuramente un mio limite. Ascensori da incubo, preso forse 2 volte, perché non arrivavano mai, a volte erano al piano ma erano bloccati. Mi mancava la hall stile costa mediterranea o costa favolosa, con la sua scalinata tutta brillantini. Mi mancava il piano che suonava tutto il giorno e mi sono mancate le feste al ristorante. Insomma, non mi lamento, ma ho sentito meno il calore. Farò altre crociere comunque. Sempre con costa.

In my opinion, the ugliest cruise ship of the year. Meaningless exteriors, while the other brands spend lots of money for design. If the food is like in the other Costa ships, better staying at home.

This is not a ship anymore it’s a theme park connected to a pontoon how ugly can you get why can’t ship designers make it look like a ship why does it have to be square and ugly,Dysney cruise ships are modern to but at least they have two funnels and look like aship

Muy decepcionantes crucero. No por las instalaciones. Buffet lleno de gente con filas muy largas y sin lugar donde sentarte. Comidas muy repetitivas. No te sirves; te Sirven. Se olvidaron del turismo internacional y contrataron casi todo el personal de filipinas que no sabe hablar ni castellano ni inglés. Mucho restaurante de paga. Y en todo incluido hay poca variedad. Unos hot cakes o pan cakes muy comunes, solo en restaurante de paga. El paquete de bebidas es de 200 € por persona. Si tu no tomas, pero tú marido si, estás obligado a comprar para los dos. El agua de 1 litro se vende en casi 4 €. Las excursiones caras. Instalaciones buenas y limpieza excelentes. Somos turistas de MEXICO y estamos sorprendidos de los cambios tan drásticos a favor del crucero que han ocurrido.

@@victoriacruise Actually, you did not. You really missed the "pool deck" on deck 18 and the "sports deck" (caged in volleyball, basketball etc field) also on deck 18. You also haven't showed the skywalk around it and the "glass walk" at the rear of the ship. But at least you've showed the "Teatro" which was missing in other videos. But great video after all. As I've worked on this ship (entertainmen lightst, sound, LED walls etc.), I really enjoyed this video to look back at it. Merry Christmas

I was on pool deck but the pool was empty and the weather condition didn’t let me walk on outside decks even though I tried and almost slipped off the ship 😆 Usually I try not to miss anything during my tours and it makes me very sad that I couldn’t film some areas and it’s not my fault!
