Everyone needs to remember that this is Sarah's stock up shop. You cant buy six weeks worth of fresh fruits and veggies for a large family all at once. She will shop in between for the fresh stuff.

We are all different people. Do not judge others. I cant tell you how much our family has changed in our eating patterns. We discovered one of our children has 5 of the major allergies! Just recently, found out that our youngest is celiac. My husband has ulcerative colitis.. i could go on. We all need to adapt and grow with our families. Lets move on from the judgement and negativity. Sarah you are awesome and I love your channel. O.G. subscriber over here! ❤ so glad you are back.

With my tiny home, I have no extra storage or room to get bulk items, so I don't have a Costco or BJs membership or anything. I buy food every 4-7 days depending on what the meals are. My fridge usually looks almost empty to people because I only buy meal to meal.

I LOVE Costco :) It's only about 5 minutes from our home, so we go probably too frequently. It can be easy for me to "overstock". My favorites are their organic fresh and frozen produce, organic meats, wild caught seafood, and great value on a variety of cheeses. We also updated our fridge and oven from Costco this year which were on a good sale.

I like getting the huge pork loins at costco and dividing them up for multiple meals (stirfry, pork chops, pulled pork, etc) I do a similar thing to you with chicken, especially if i have a few fresh veggies that aren't going to be eaten before going ick. Bagging chicken drumsticks with sad looking peppers, onions, zucchini etc and some spices makes a very simple sheet meal for our busy days.

Our family of nine combines Costco and Aldi. I find that meat at Aldi is still good quality, but cheaper. Also, canned foods are cheaper.. the Aldi brands has no “junk”. We do buy our laundry detergent from Lowes, which is cheaper too. Oh, and cheese from Aldi, especially goat cheese is fantastic. That being said, peanut butter, olive oil, maple syrup, and coffee are my go to at Costco. Thanks for a fun video!

Your videos bring back sweet memories. Not everyone can do what you’re doing, but where He leads He empowers, right?! I can’t imagine how much food must cost overseas? 1000 Dollar would easily get my family of six going for around six weeks all in. So all veg and stuff. As of today, 1000 Dollars are aprox. 900€. Germany is somewhere in the middle, when it comes to costs for groceries

No more “Hola muchachos”. Now Sarah eats more meat. Produce cost more these days. Costco must be the promised land bc that is what Sarah says right?…Or do we understand by nature to not worship and hang our hopes on content creators who find the novelty wears off with certain ethnic groups when they no longer serve the needs of their own. Basically disrespecting those who speak Spanish and discussing Latin as being a “superior” dialect. There is no superior dialect on our earth. But when you blindly follow a wolf in sheep’s clothing who indicates they are on a mission, yet disrespects certain ethnic groups by exploiting them for sponsorship those are red flags.

Not to be the judge, but there was a concern I have within our society today. Some people express budgets with large families. I totally understand that mentality of stretching a dollar amount for food within a home with a large family. But what I don’t understand is the type of grandeur means of spending $7,000 on a couch. You think it would be heartbreaking to see poverty continue instead of buying a couch of $7,000 for a household. People confuse me sometimes, especially with trying to portray an image of frugal nature while really coming off as impulsive and the opposite of what they really intend to be. Minimalist to me is financially responsible and frugal. Also, if at any time one has maintenance issues of any kind, those “expensive” furniture pieces can be dissolved within a matter of time. We live in an entitled society these days. People taking out loans for things they cannot really afford for an image. Then those temporary comforts displace good and innocent people to be homeless. I gather that not everyone understands the reality of the situation because everyone wants materialistic things so quickly. The Bible discusses many things; especially someone giving everything back to the poor. Those comforts that steal from people who are innocent will revert back to the oppressors. Because the Bible speaks much of it, just as receiving an inheritance too early. Just food for thought.

Minimalism to me means owning less quantity and more quality. A well made couch would qualify in that regard.
@kylaesqueda3536
@kylaesqueda3536 7 ай бұрын
What happened to the first couch Sarah’s family had? Having young children and spending that much money on depreciation (the couch deteriorating), does not seem like a wise purchase. With young children that is not very wise in my humble opinion. Quality in furniture is understandable, but a family tearing it up so quickly at that price seems like it wouldn’t be minimalist.

Besides a few easy items like the Mac and cheese what was terribly unhealthy here? Costco has a great selection of produce equal to Whole Foods, the only diff is you buy more of it cheaper at Costco. This one video does not undo the body of work she has put out. So she eats meat now, so do most people. We were designed to be omnivores.
