Thanks man, this did help me. I've yet to finish watching but just the tip about moving south and ignoring Top Notch made a big difference. I'm used to Beastmen and thought that Skarbrand would be very similar but he's actually quite different with a lot more to be mindful of. I did use my cult to move north but I'd like to hold the south with a second army.

@@kevinharvey9500 because the faction effect and tech makes it so you have a 20%chance to automatically and randomly occupy a settlement in the province at no cost, so its worth it I discovered in this video, to only occupy the province capitals

I must admit: I love the game, i love the Warhammer Fantasy lore but i am way to stupid for those battles, even on the easiest difficulty.

6:30 no way Nurgle is harshest, you are surrounded by enemies, and you have ghorst with way better units and extra armies and extra settlements by turn 10 that you have to beat or else you die.

i have to admit that this provided no help whatsoever, the trouble isnt using skarbrand, it's how to manage the settlements and economy, cuz you can barely support more than 2 armies almost 100 turns in because everyone has declared war on you and you keep having to go back and forth to stop them from snowballing and taking all your settlements so you end up with like 1 or 2 high tier settlements for eco

spam the blood for the blood god armies and get as much post battle loot as possible

You don't care about settlements. People take cities... Great for destroying later on That's why you don't have to bother settling anything as chaos saps will auto settle cities anyway for freeeeeeeeeeeee!

im playing on normal and trying to follow your exact moves to a T. did skarbrand get nerfed since this video? some units arent available to me, and i go to try and fight thorek and the battle result predicts a valiant defeat, i dont think theres any chance of me taking this settlement

If you don’t have the chaos dlcs (champions of chaos, Warriors of Chaos) it restricts your units from those, like marauders.
