DL not being aware of the Great Lakes makes perfect sense when you realize he was glued to his computer for a decade playing ADC. The Great Lakes don't provide extra damage so he doesn't need to know about them.

Lol I couldn't handle the Great Lakes talk. I grew up in Michigan, so this was just crazy to me. They are the 4 lakes you can see from space or on a globe all around Michigan (the hand/mitten state).

@@highrise8738 The way he's speaking comes from EU imports, at some point like in 2017 or 2018, NA players started copying the mannerisms and overall speech of the EU imports (which in itself is amalgamation of all the countries/dialects in EU). Now it's pretty common to copy your environment but, they do it to such an extent that it's a bit weird lol, like down to their accent, pronounciation and even semi-broken english is like. Bro... I get using the same words but, you don't have to try to literally become them, where's your own personality in this. Like Spica to me is what a normal person would do, he has some of their words and some mannerisms but he's not flat out altering his pronounciation and shit lol. This entire way of speaking has legitimately become like its own language over there in NA, it's been leaking out to other games like Valorant lmao. As a european the entire ordeal is weird as fuck to look at from an outside perspective, I don't even know why or how the obsession started. It's like americans are obsessed with trying to not be american. This ofc has no impact on someone's ability to tell a story, the guy just doesn't know how to do that lmao

Why does it sound like teams(esp bottom tier ones) are doing all sorts of creative shit in scrims that actually seems to be destroying the game of vets like DL and (presumably) working out for them to make the game winnable/closer and then on stage they just draft stale meta shit and just play the "traditional and safe" version of league that a) they aren't good enough to win with, b) is terrible to watch and for the scene c) will guarantee they lose to a top team every single time. Where is the bravery on stage?

Revenge is one of the most delusional players (formerly) in the LCS. The guy always acted like he was TheShy, but he was absolute garbage. It seemed like every game he would die in a 1v1 and then dramatically facepalm like he was sooo close to winning the fights that he always lost. Then he finally gets on EG only after they blew up their great roster, and it's just JoJo and four bots but JoJo carries them to some wins and Revenge thinks it's all him. Meanwhile every team in the league is saying EG are "frauds" and as soon as they focus Mid every game the team collapses. Now he says stuff like NA doesn't build good rosters or evaluate talent well because no team wanted him. And he is right about that because when IMT actually had Revenge and Insanity they bizarrely chose to build around their weakest player Revenge, instead of their best player Insanity. Blame it on that moron Guilhoto who coaches some trash tier team in Spain now.
