In today’s video, I am discussing my dark academia, cottagecore, English country Christmas decor. I’ll be decorating my living room and wall nook using inspiration from the English countryside, Victorian Christmas Elements, cottagecore and dark academia.
I’ll be making a special Christmas simmer pot and also drying out orange slices to use as decor.
In my next video I’ll be decorating my kitchen and dining room.

Love the gallery wall and all the dark greens of the throw and pillows. I do wish you would pan out a little more , so I can see the spaces. Close ups are pretty , but doesn't let me feel the room and its surroundings.

I love , love the old antique decorations. My house has several antiques from family. You have inspired me to just do what I love. Of course I am old so it goes with me. The girl with the dog I purchased as a digital print on Etsy last year and just printed it on regular computer paper but this year, I decided to have it professionally printed. The one I purchased is no longer available. I did find that print on gift tags on Etsy and a similar print that is available on Etsy (but no dog :( ). I’ll will link those in the video description for you.

Thank you so much! The ingredients in the pot will keep for up to a week so you don’t need to slice fresh oranges or add cranberries each day. Just add a bit of water each day because it does cook down and the cranberries turn white after day 2 but are still just as fragrant 😊
