I've never particularly cared for dolls except for when I was little. However I like doll customization because there's something oddly relaxing about the people's voices and watching the doll change is really amazing

This is the first video of yours that I’ve seen, and I am already in love - this Garnet is so cute! I think the best part is her absolutely fabulous hair! My favorite fusion is smoky quartz, but this video reminds me why Garnet is definitely my second favorite lol

as much as i see your point, i dont think white washing in dolls is intentional. The darker you go, the harder it is to get depth in the shading, the harder it is to paint on details, and as soon as you add just a tiny bit too much highlight..the doll looks too light. A good example of this is Sasha from Bratz, she used to be a really dark doll, but after like 2003 she was lightened a couple shades, purely because the skin was too hard to work with

Idk if anyone else noticed but in the episode after A Single Pale Rose, Amethyst said "Heck, if you said rose invented cotton candy, I'd believe it." And in a way she did. Or she at least helped!

Macy is my all time favourite of your dolls (it’s the fairy dress and Jolene buns) so it’s so neat to see another three eyed doll. Even just two dimensional it’s amazingly detailed. I love this hair technique too.

Garnet’s hair turned out amazing!! I know a lot of doll customizers will plug yarn into the head and brush it out for natural curls and while that does achieve more denser curls it’s still amazing to see you can do it other ways with more nice fibers than yarn. She turned out really well!! You guys keep surprising me with your talents.

My favorite fusion (before change your mind) is of course Smoky Quartz! They're just so relatable and unique- but Stevonnie is a close second! (I have a T shirt I recently bought with them on it!) Anyway, this video was really cool and the process of decorating a doll like this is really new to me so I'm really interested! You've earned yourself a new subscriber with this lovely video :3
