This is so much prettier than the others I've seen. Even with the measurements for the darts not shown in inches, I had no problem since it's not "Rocket Science". THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS VIDEO.

14 inch sq. Fabric and batting, 12-13 inch plate , (really any size you want adjust accordingly ) fold over circle 4 times ,use saucer or cup to create curve , looks she used the mark 3 cm . I would chalk line it first. The darts ..39 inch by 1.25 inch. (1 X 3 CM). Looks like pipping she is sewing in if you like it. You can do this out of inexpensive quilted placemats too , Walmart, Dollar store for round or rectangle cozy. I have to try this. Merci Madame.

14" square seems large for a soup bowl. Does this work for a soup bowl?

Ben Mitchell a soup would use a starting square measuring 9”-10” lots of videos for bowl cozies

Darlene Nelson I think so. I guess it's a microwave potholder. She only used one layer of batting. I usually use two

2.5 cm =1in. Easy Peasy! 14 inch squares, darts appeared to be 1/2 inch x 1 inch.
