@@FREAKOUT123ism nice copy and paste but that would be for the average person.. not a CF patient who's had lung bleeds all of her life and a cat less than a year. I'm a vet tech.. Harry has been to the vet many times. They would know if he has anything that could make Mary worse.

Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers Mary. Please take care and hope that those side effects subside very soon. I know all too well what it's like to have clots throughout my body and in my lungs due to my clotting disorder. Praying you never have any clotting issues. Feel better my friend!

I hope you're feeling better Mary. I my self have experienced hemtoises because my blood doesn't clot well. I really have to be careful of nose bleeds. Feel better and enjoy the good brisket. Thanks for sharing you're day and as all ways I will see you tomorrow god bless.

I can relate to you girl😥. I got hemolysis 2 months into taking Tricafta in April Easter weekend (what a terrible time to get it☹) and had to go to the ER and be hospitalized for it because this was out of the blue and abnormal for me. I have had it once before that in January '19 when I suffered the worst time ever in my CF life (and teen/young adult life) by being in and out of the hospital 3 times in one month with first CF exacerbation,then the flu 5 days after going home,then pneumonia 2 1/2 days after going home. But also what caused it when I was hospitalized the third time with pneumonia was that I had gotten a blood clot in my right arm after a stupid nurse pulled my PIC line incorrectly during my last stay with the flu. So after much struggles and set backs,I finally went home after 2 weeks in the hospital with pneumonia with a new PIC line in my left arm (that's another story for another time). But long story short first time I was on Orkambi and the second time just starting out on Tricafta. And now I'm doing well and hope to stay that way for a good long time. Hope you feel better Mary.

Thanks so much for this video, I’ve just had my first bleed since starting kaftrio in 2020 and needing IVS. Glad to know I’m not alone as I instantly was worried I’m getting sick again. Thankfully my o2 levels are fine and it’s stopped quickly. Hope you’re well ❤

Hi guys, ill pray you never need surgery to stop the bleeding coz im assuming not needing surgery for this long shows your healing process in that area is fairly healthy/ier 🙏 and good tips for brisket.

I LOVE pulled pork sandwiches but I know that the pulled pork that I have tasted would pale in comparison to your smoker pulled pork, Peter! Glad that you both are enjoying the smoker! This is Thanksgiving weekend in Canada....so many blessings to thank God for. I pray that the bleeding from your lungs stops on its own and that you do not need intervention, Mary. I've seein you at your ex Boston Hospital, where I also work, a couple of times but never approached you. I didn't want to add more headache to your busy schedule but mostly i also have someone with CF in my life and would never want to risk spreading something either way. It sucks that you have crappy days but im happy to see your quality of like improve so much thanks to the new CF drug.

I'm so sorry you're having problems with bleeding. It can be kind of scary. There were times in the ICU where I worked that people had pulled out all their IVs or were having a bleeding episode and they were so scared, we reassured them that the amount of blood that occurred was relatively small and we would take care of everything and we tried to clean up things as fast as we could.

I have non-CF bronchiectasis and have had hemoptysis many times. It looks like clots. Sometimes a lot, which is scary. I got a vest a few months ago and thought it would mean less hemoptysis, but not so. Now that I see you have them, I feel better. Take care.

Hope your feeling better Mary. Yes, Peter, we care about your smoking. I don't have a smoker but recipes and cooking, baking is always fun. Peter's lawn looks good. How about some diagonal pattern next? Harry needs a harness and leash then he can join you outside without worrying. Cause he can be fast.

Just WOW, the grass look gorgeous! Peter, after all that work you have done in the past to now...Wasn’t it all worth it! Not a question, coz I know it sure was. Ok, something I have been wondering..Mary, have you Done a video and talked about the switch from your back home doctor’s and surgeon’s to the Dr’s you have now? The differences, and stuff. Peter, give up the pulled pork. Cook it to about 200-205 degrees, let it rest and then SLICE it. That’s how we’ve eaten it for years and it’s so much better. Be sure to slice across the grain, just like with the brisket. You’ve inspired me to get a pork roast and brisket out of the freezer and smoke them this week!! So many good meals 😊 to come. Harry is precious but Ollie makes me smile every time I see him. I’m a poodle mom, too. God bless you all.

When we got our Coroline (black cat) last year , I was reluctant to let her roam around. Basically, cats have their own territories and won't wonder too far away. It's good for a cat to have that freedom. Our cat usually comes home when she's called. I know it's scary, because perhaps one day she won't come home. Freedom is a wonderful thing. Saying that, your Harry, is Hairless , so maybe that would make him more of a target. Thanks for sharing your life with us. Hugs from Northern Canada.

Have had that procedure last year. It is called a pulmonary embolization. They use the femoral artery to access your lungs.

I have CF! I know what it is for exAMPLE LIVING IN FRICKIN LUNG FUNCTION ROOMS, HOSPITAL VISITS AND ALL THE TRIALS YA KNOW. SO MANY THINGS FOR A CF HUMAN

Follow up: I kept watching and you said you haven’t needed it yet!! That’s great :) I hope it doesn’t get that bad. I’m having one done before my own lung surgery at the end of this year.

May I ask for prayers for my sister. On Wed. she had an angiogram and had to have a stent placed. She had complications during the procedure and was in the hospital until Friday. She has been diagnosed with severe sleep apnea and low oxygen. She is currently on 24/7 oxygen. Her sedentary lifestyle has caused her lungs to shrink. She is also a diabetic. It has been an overwhelming few days. She lives with my husband and me. Hopefully she can turn things around to improve her quality of life. 🙏🏻💗. Thank you

Prayers for your sister. Hopefully the oxygen will give her some energy to get up and walk or do something for exercise. It's the best thing for me when I need oxygen. I have an exercise bike now, but I used to strap on a backpack with a small tank and go for a walk. :)

Rhonda Torres thank you so much. She has a treadmill. Yesterday she walked for 5 min twice on the treadmill. You have to start somewhere. I am hoping with time she may be able to regain her lung capacity. It makes me very sad to see her decline and struggles. I so appreciate your encouragement 😊
