Thanks for hearing me out and actually helping and reaching the village. I wish I had your courage to continue even with that insane blizzard, wisdom to create something like that glue, and power to actually create a bridge to reach the village! I badly wanted to help the village but I unfortunately know I can’t be much help. I did just left all the supplies I can to Traysi and hope someone comes in to deliver it to the village. I know it’s not much, but I can’t leave without giving anything. I actually wanted to stay to somehow meet you, but I got a new research objective. Traysi and Penn mentioned there had been some sighting of the Princess - yes, Princess Zelda who’s supposed to be still missing - in different stables. So here I am, on my way to get to every stable and see if this is true. _I don't think it's true_ I hope we cross path one day! Thanks for the recipe tips too, I suck at cooking. Was just in goron city recently. Here’s a few travel tips if you ever go there: 1: The volcano has gone quiet as of late, so unless you plan to explore the caves, you don’t need to spend rupees on fireproof elixirs. 2: some of the gorons seemed a bit scary and Ill tempered, but Bludo and some of the older gorons were pleasant to talk to. 3: there’s some new food that’s all the rage. I think they called it marbled rock roast. I didn’t try any since I’m not a big fan of rocks being a hylian and all, but I didn’t really like the look in the gorons’ eyes who were chowing down on it, so be careful of what you eat. The upheaval happened while I was hunting in the Hebra region. I had to cut my trip short and make my way back because of the blizzard. Upon arriving at Rito village, I sold all of my meats at a discounted price to lighten my load, and left. I was able to cross the gap by shooting some rope on an arrow, and having the people on the other side fasten it. From there, it was smooth sailing back to Hateno. But I found that my house, which I had built myself on my own land, mind you, had been knocked down to make room for some random mushrooms. I tried to complain to the mayor, but apparently he was losing his hold on the situation, so there was nothing he could do. Still, I had lost my home, and I couldn't stay in my cabin in Hebra. I tried to look at the new home listings that I had gone through before, just to find that basically every house that had been available before had been completely destroyed. The one in Kakariko was declared a historic site after something fell on it, the one in Lurelin was destroyed by pirates, etc. In the end, the only option I had was Lookout Landing. So I went there. once there, I joined the monster subjugation squad. That way, I could keep my bow skills sharp while I waited for Hebra to de-ice a little. Now that the situation there seems to have cleared up, I'll probably go back to living a relaxed life and going on the occasional hunting trip. Do tell me if you ever need a skilled archer with monster hunting experience. I'll be right there.

If your skilled with your bow, do you know the "Arrow-time" technique ? Link does it perfectly, but I still fail sometimes. If you didn’t know of it, then learn it, and you’ill be the best archer of Hyrule. The only thing you have to do is focus while in the air. With enough practice, time will feel slow. You can then shoot with your bow.

@@_Chara_Dreemurr You can do that!? That's the thing that I was using to determine those other guys as being better than me! I always hit my shots, but I shoot too slow to ever be called the best. Link can lay down twenty shots a second. My personal best is two while still remaining accurate. Any chance you could teach me what you know? It would make hunting way more efficient. In exchange, I'll teach you my stealth skills and help you place more of your shots.

In Terry town there seems to be a high collection of "Zonai devices" (Or so I have heard the research team call them) and one of them, when hit, is propelled in a straight line ridiculously fast (including upwards)! With a few of these devices and sprinkling of octo balloons attached to... let's say... a hot air balloon basket, I am sure you can reach some of the sky islands :D Problem comes with getting down from them... I just realized how lucky you were! You might not have known, since it's extremely rare (I only learned of this after a narrow miss of one falling near my head while I was stargazing), but at around 6:53, there's a fallen star fragment in the background of your footage! You can tell by the yellow beacon in the distance. I myself was shocked to see the beam of light to my right when mine fell. When I approached, it almost sensed my presence and dimmed its light to a warm glow. Up close, they're round and pointy. It's hard to describe, really. I didn't really know what to do with it, so I kept it in my pack with my other belongings. That morning, I wanted to look at it in the light, but it started to dissolve in the sun! It didn't feel all that cold, but the light was certainly doing something to it. More likely than not, if you were to try to find the one in the video now, it will have completely dissolved. I did learn of the hero Link collecting a bunch of these for some reason or another when I tried to pawn it in Hateno, so I might give it to him if we cross paths! Until then, I'll just use it as a nightlight when I go stargazing again.

She's a sweet girl, and she got our school built! But I can't help thinking the resources dedicated to random potential building sites around Hyrule would be better spent on other things. This is less on her and more on Bolson, I think. She put him in charge but he's only actually done those weird new towers, I think. Impressive, I guess, but there's a bunch of bridges all over Hyrule that have had zero maintenance in a hundred years, you know? You know the Big Twin Bridge by the Dueling Peaks? There's a rock through it now. Just. A real big rock that fell from the sky. You can walk around it but horses can't, so a lot of people can only get to Hateno by going through Kakariko. Fine for most travellers, even convenient, but the Sahasra Slope is uncomfortably steep with a cart. So tourism is up, but trade is down.

Those construction boys have freely spread building materials across the kingdom. Maybe you're just too lazy to pick up a hammer? It's not like Hyrule has an organized government anymore. I haven't been told to pay the crown a tax. No one has even taken up the crown. No, we don't need to pester the princess of a bygone era to fix our bridges for us. Go buy some nails, grab a hammer, and get to fixing. Frankly, I think a lot of problems in hyrule could be solved with good application of hammers and nails. And where those fail, the answer is bananas. Good ole mighty bananas🍌! Perfect for constructing that pesky nest of bokos a new graveyard! My specialty is banana bread. I don't understand why Hyrule doesn't farm bananas. Just because those fiendishly clever and dangerous Yigas also like bananas? I have it on good authority that Link fellow is constantly chowing down on banana infused meals. I even once bought a dish that Beedle swore Link made out of five whole bunches of bananas (there's five bananas in a bunch! Thats 25 bananas!) and after I ate that, I killed a black moblin! If you can get your hands on some Tabantha wheat, you can grind it real fine, mix it with mashed bananas and chopped nuts, and then - instead of boiling it - put a lid on top of your pot and bury it under the coals of your fire for a few hours. You'll get a delightful banana bread. I love experimenting with cooking... my latest invention is that you can grill slices of hydromelon and they end up with a meaty texture and savory taste that's actually pretty good, especially with a pinch of rock salt and wrapped in leaves of Hyrule herb... [[BTW, watermelon steak is a real thing, meaning that roasted hydromelon is somewhat less deranged than it might look!]]

Wow. 25,000 subscribers. I remember following your channel the moment you uploaded that video about where to live in Hyrule. You have helped so many people survive after the calamity, and I feel as though there must be a lot of pressure on you to help these people out. I just wanna say that you have my full support from Squimblo the Travelling Korok. Also I got launched on a rocket from Mr. Hero when I said I needed to get to my friend. It hurt. I thought he was supposed to protect us D: I also have an odd occurrence you should report on! Unlike most people, as a Korok I can see things that others can't (although they can't see me). While being launched from the rocket, I spotted a new dragon in the air, different from the reported three! It had wispy trails of light from it's head. It might have something to do with Mr. Hero! Luckily I landed on a massive floating island- the largest of the bunch!

Hello, I found this quote in some old myth book titled "The tragic tale of Gerudo King Ganondorf Dragmire, ancient demon king reborn". What could it mean? "My country lay within a vast desert. When the sun rose into the sky, a burning wind punished my lands, searing the world. And when the moon climbed to the dark of night, a frigid gale pierced our homes. No matter when it came, the wind carried the same thing… Death. But the winds that blew across the green fields of Hyrule brought something other than suffering and ruin. I coveted that wind, I suppose."

Currently, the best place to live in Hyrule is probably Tarrey Town. The 3 other main regional villages all have their own problems, lurelin village has the problem with the pirates, and Kakariko village has problems with the rings. I keep hearing about those situations in the paper. Other than those, tarrey town is just nice. You can even build your own house, room by room! And the residents are pretty nice too! And finally, this place has something REALLY cool. There are these weird greenish mechanisms called Zonai Devices which keep falling from the sky, which do weird things when you hit them. Unfortunately, we could only use them for a a short amount of time. Some scientists have travelled to the lookout landing, because there’s a weird robot thing that seems like it has connections to the devices. When they came back, they had some kind of energy cell, and we can use the machines now for a bunch of crazy things! Hudson Construction is planning to use those to make better housing and make taking care of houses easier. That’s where I live, and it’s awesome.

Oh, yeah, that I think I’ve killed a few of them. I found a pretty good strategy to kill them. Shoot their 3 heads with keese eyeballs, so that they’re stunned, then, attack their heads with a powerful weapon, repeat and you just killed a gleeok. Now, their horns are pretty powerful. While they are small, replacing them with the blade of your weapon makes an elemental blade when you attack. Their wings are better of for arrows, increasing the distance and speed at which they travel. Their guts are good for medicine and elixirs.

Good to here that the snow was clearing up I wa so worried for the Rito. I hope Link can help us in Zora's Domain. Right after the upheaval dark sludge started falling from the sky and a massive island appeared up there any Zora that gets trapped in the sludge can get completly stuck. What's more the sludge can only be cleared away by clen water which we don't have a lot of because the water is full of sludge. We need help! On a more positive note those foods you talked about sound good I will be sure to try making them.

You could try splash fruit or hydrants. Hydrants are zonai devices, and they magically spit out water when activated. Maybe YAH could do a zonai devices guide video, as they work incredibly well for vehicles, weapons and life in general.

Yeah, even their tails do when you get them. Lizalfos tail make whips if attached to weapons, making them have a great range. And elemental lizalfos tail still hold elemental properties, they’re so powerful on boomerangs, to deal with large monsters groups easily.

Hey there, fellow Hylians! You may remember me from before, venting about my decayed royal broadsword. Well, I heard a rumor that link went into those chasms, and emerged laden with pristine equipment! Ever since then, I've been workshopping my own paraglider, and earlier, I got the last piece I needed. A tough piece of fabric. I finished it up and I'll be heading into a chasm later. Wish me luck!

Update: On my way to a chasm, I ran into Link. He actually stopped and struck up a conversation with me, which surprised me. I told him about my plan and showed him my paraglider for his assessment. He said it was decently well crafted, but advised against me heading down there. When I asked why, the only real reason he gave me was "monsters". Even with my decayed broadsword, I can still handle myself, so I thanked him and carried on my way. But, in all honesty, seeing the glimmer of his blade just made me more determined to get a replacement for my sword. I think he just wanted the weapons for himself. Plus, on my way there, I ran into Zelda! She almost walked right past me, until she saw the paraglider in my hand. She asked me what I was planning to do with it, and I explained. She told me that the depths were nothing to worry about, and there were pristine weapons around every corner! Something did seem off about her, but I've been traveling for a while without rest. I'm probably just imagining things.

Depths exploration: Day one. I arrived in the depths safely. It was surprisingly bright. As I made my way further from the chasm, I came across some strange one-eyed creatures. I dispatched of them easily. One bit me, but it wasn't all that painful. They dropped brightbloom seeds and a strange material. I stashed it for later and moved on. After navigating through pools of gloom, I found a strange stone. On top of it was some ghostly knight, holding out a pristine throwing spear! I grabbed it and moved on. I found a monster camp, but all the monsters looked like they were covered in gloom! One of them hit me, and I instantly felt weaker. I dispatched of them and I'll be resting in the empty camp for now. I'll keep you updated.

Depths exploration: Day two I set out from the empty monster camp I sought refuge in, and as I moved further away, it started to get darker and darker. I grabbed a strange mushroom puffing smoke from by a tree and reached into my pouch for a brightbloom seed. After grabbing one, I tossed it at full force. It took root, causing a bright glow. As I went deeper in, I found a larger camp. I took out the monsters with some difficulty, until it was down to me and two armored bokoblins. I couldn't land a hit, so I tossed the mushroom I picked up earlier. It burst into a cloud of smoke, blinding me and the monsters! I swung a makeshift hammer I picked up wildly, until I felt their armor shatter. I switched to me decayed broadsword, but on the final swing, it broke in half! I tossed the useless handle aside and kept going. I found two more ghost, one holding a traveller's spear, the other a sword. I took them both and set up a fire, where I'll camp out. I'll keep you updated!

Depths exploration: Day three. I set off from my makeshift camp. I immediately noticed I missed another ghost, from which I obtained a travelers sword. As I kept moving, I encountered a seemingly insurmountable cliff. I changed my path and forged on. I grabbed some more puffy mushrooms, and moved on. As I traversed a pool of gloom, I lingered too long. I felt the gloom take root, and felt weaker. I kept moving. From my past experiences, I decided it would be best to avoid the larger camps. I used the puffy mushrooms to hide myself. I took out any seperated monsters. I took a few hits, but overall made it past okay. A stalkoblin emerged from the ground. I dispatched of it and took its arm and thick stick. I was kicked in the face by a stal horse, and finally arrived at a glowing root. It's glow felt slightly soothing, so I decided to camp here. I'll keep you updated!

The Zora might be a good next stop. Of all the phenomenon happening, this here seems the most tame. Thanks for giving me the courage to venture from my home in Tarrey Town and help the Zora! But, ahem, we could use a little help. If you do visit the domain, would you mind bringing splash fruit and maybe even some neutral Chu jelly?

I also live in tarrey town, and I’ve been thinking that too. I’m definitely a person who wants to be neat, so walking through/swimming through sludge might not be the best idea for me. But it definitely beats freezing to death, getting blinded by sand, (or getting destroyed by gibdos) or getting addicted to a weird rock, and/or burning to death in caves or on death mountain. For me, it does seem like the tamest, and probably the closest, besides maybe the Gorons. So we should help!

We know that the RITO did survive it, but we don’t know if the hylians could survive without the stables. They would have to carry in small bits of supplies to survive. They were still selling things because they could use the rupees ( money ) to buy resources from the other regions of HYRULE.

They’re true. I’m in this place rn, it has been a little less than 14 days. Currently figuring a way to get out with dragons that come in and out. This place is packed with monsters of all kind. Bokoblins, lizalfos, moblins, boss bokoblins, Hinox, talus, frox, and even flux constructs, there’s also Lynels. The yiga are active there too. It has been my only food source, stealing mighty bananas. If you find yourself there, good luck getting out. Edit : I escaped by jumping on one of the dragons ! They go in and out from the depths so you just have to climb one and wait to get out.
