We are working on pouring a building in the middle of downtown Jackson Hole. We had a few issues that we ran into with wet mud, a plug, and blocking traffic but we were still able to get the job done with minimal stress.

If I was you boys I’d drop the idea of “ Sucking a bucket’ it’s going it’s going to get you in more trouble than you can poke a stick at . Get yourself a 5 inch soft sponge to suck back 1ST then use it to send the water back . Concrete and water don’t mix when it comes to pumping especially in your turret and deck pipes . I’m happy to give you my details if you want to ask any questions I can see you boys are a bit green . It’s all good tho we’ve all been there and happy to help if you need. What's your opinion on hard vs soft sponge?

I concur. I keep a large bucket on the truck and will suck it back if the situation is advantageous to doing so, but the tried and true sponge-water-sponge has never failed me literally even once in 24 years.

@@JakeinJackson we’ve always used soft , we don’t take our boom hose off to suck back
