@@THEBEAST-yo8uu Well Godzilla was half dead and got revived by a nuke, then Ghidorah whooped his ass so bad he stared seeing the entrance to the after life and guess what happened, Monthra died and PlotZilla got a second power up out of the blue just like the super saiyans in DBZ. there's no power up that Godzilla had in King of the monsters that wasn't ass pull. Only the new form is a proper power up.

Pacific Rim is gonna get wreaked waaaaaaay too hard. Godzilla could probably even solo and do it from a distance with his atomic breath. I also agree with what you said about Godzilla and Kong having the weight advantage, giving them the ability to easily thwack the Jaegers through buildings. It would be cool if they actually did a crossover between the two universes.

Kong falls from thousands of feet in the air, travels across the hollow earth, climbs from the hallow earth, fights Godzilla and has a sedative that keeps him from getting to hyped cause it literally slows his heart beat(the sedative used when he was being carried by helicopter) then after being revived he fights with Godzilla. Safe to say he was definitely under 50% at the end of that movie. Directors even said him and Godzilla were at 50% at there fight. He’s way nerfed before that final fight

I keep hearing people mention godzilla taking a nuke as a feat, but doesn't he get energy from radiation?

Yes but the radiation alone does not combust and tear apart things. Radiation causes diseases and kills slowly. Burst of power like nuclear weapons could shred the toughest objects into atom. Radiation cannot do that. Hence taking a nuke is feat and absorbing radiations isn't. The toughness that takes to withstand a nuke is definitely a feat.

The radiation factor may have been nullified cuz of that, yes, but you also have to account for the pure heat of the explosion itself. Hold on, I’ll follow up on this, just let me do some light research on how hot modern nukes can be.

Aight so, a 1 megaton nuke can produce temperatures at around 100 million degrees Celsius at the center of the explosion, this temperature being around four or five times the temperature at the center of our Sun. Legendary Godzilla tanked Castle Bravo, a 15 megaton nuke. So he tanked an explosion that’s around 60-75 times that of the center of our Sun. If that wasn’t enough to show it as a feat, Legendary also tanked the Permian Impact asteroid that wiped out the dinosaurs. At point blank impact. It literally hit HIM and he survived.

Yes, exactly. To get the benefits of the radiation he has to be able to survive the explosion so...yeah. Scary powerful. I mean...Ghidora picked him up and dropped him from practically outer space and he slammed back into the ground like a meteor and he wasn't even unconscious after that..

I'd still give it to Kong and Godzilla but mainly Godzilla carrying. Godzilla almost beat ghidorah twice, the first he ran and the second humans helped him with the oxygen bomb, after already beating him in the past. Kong just has to hold his own with Mecha Godzilla until Godzilla can come help, which I believe he could if he's healthy especially with his agility. Mecha Godzilla only had to upper hand in his fight with Godzilla because Godzilla was exhausted from being on the move for days and fighting Kong twice during that.

Easy, Godzilla and Kong are both far more agile, stronger, and more battle hardened than any Kaiju in Pacific Rim. Jaegers go down hard

I think that they would both win. The only thing I'm worried about is obsidian fury's heat blade against Kong. Godzilla will most likely be able to ignore this due to his tough scales and skin, including his pain tolerance. I think if Godzilla wasn't there to protect Kong, Kong would die against the heat blades

I love the idea of Godzilla running at the mega kaiju. Godzilla is noticeably smaller but because of his weight and strength he would just plow into it and push it through every sky scraper in his way

The fact Godzilla and Kong fought for 12 hours is insane, but the fact that they people had to survive their 12-hour fight is crazier.

Eh, I dunno, I think the Mutos would get folded and killed. Same with the small skull crawlers and creatures on Skull Island. Everything else tho (Godzilla, Kong, maybe Mothra, Ghidorah, Scar King, Shimu, and my favorite boi Mecha Godzilla) is soloing Rimverse. Leatherback might be able to disable Mecha G tho

@@dr.boring7022 The MUTOs are still vastly heavier than them & have better stamina. They could maybe take out the Hokmuto but the Femuto is going to easily bulldoze all the Rim Kaiju.

MUTOs have EMP attack, takes out all Jaegers instantly. that’s half the enemy in under 10 sec of the fight.

I thought I read that he's not going to stay pink. His leaner body and more muscular arms may stay but I think the pink energy will burn off and he'll revert back to blue. Kinda like how he didn't stay orange/burning in King of the Monsters. I can't remember who said or if that stays true. I don't think it was Wingard who said it but it might have been. Honestly I'm fine either way though. I like both looks..

@@davidsavage5630 He can go back to his regular blue atomic breathe, but if he ever absorbs that much radiation again he will likely turn into his pink form again, and if it ever gets to an over abundance of uncontrolled energy than he will turn full thermo once more probably. Tho maybe not, maybe it evolved so much that it has a higher limit and control that it doesn't need thermo anymore, the pink version might be stronger, and can get stronger as it evolves.

Another thing to consider about Kong during the ocean fight with Godzilla. Kong was under sedation so he wouldn't be a major threat during transport. We could assume he's effectively at reduced, maybe even half strength during that fight. So the fact he's able to successfully struggle at all with Godzilla while fighting in Goji's element, while also weakened, is even more impressive.

When I saw Pacific Rim 2 and the mega kaiju I was thinking oh this would be an interesting match up between Godzilla but then a part of me deflated when the mega kaiju was killed by a 200ft robot falling from the sky.

Also keep in mind that in GVK Kong was never at his full strength at the beginning of the fights because he was recently coming out of sedation. During the sea Battle he had literally just been taken off sedative drugs shortly before they fought, in Hong Kong he just emerged from the whole earth which was sedated before being transported to. So while he certainly had adrenaline and sometime to shake off the effects he certainly was not at his full potential.

One thing that I’d say Kong debatably has over Godzilla is resilience Kong seems to recover from damage fast that Godzilla does, not heal from damage but push on in spite of it Like in Kong skull island when he is set on fire, deprived of oxygen and was slammed into the ground by Ramarak, a minute later he’s back up and swinging, in the skull island Netflix series when he was being drowned by the kraken, in GvK round 1 when he was chained to the boat or when he was hit with a barrage of depth charges that knock the air out of his lungs and both times he was able to break free from Godzilla’s grip and swim back to the surface, all of which he was under a sedative that was designed to starve his blood of oxygen if he becomes to active so he wouldn’t do anything dangerous during that journey to the arctic, he was still coming down from the effects of this when he exploded the hollow earth and when he fought Godzilla in Hong Kong since it take up to 24 hours for it to completely burn out of his system, and then got up to fight mechagodzilla after just being resuscitated

Everyone forgets Kong's one massive advantage when dealing with humans: Diplomacy. Kong can fight, but he can also communicate. He starts using ASL (American Sign Language) and someone is going to realize he can be negotiated with, he can explain why he's doing what he's doing. Godzilla is also willing to cooperate with human forces. And after New Empire Godzilla might listen to Kong's advice. So the team could negotiate with the Jagers, and tag team the Kaiju.

I remember thinking Godzilla and Kong teaming up against Shimo and Skar King was gonna be a close fight... As soon as Godzilla showed up he pretty much murked everyone and it became a one sided bear down. Lol. Like Shimo really did not do well again Godzilla, and Skar King was just canon fodder at that point. 😂
