It would be interesting if the eyes changed color depending on mood, nice idea! I also think it would be cool if it wasn't such a drastic change from red to green, but instead the eyes would fade from red to green, so then there's a weird "gray" phase in between or something

Also, imagine if that transpired across all "standard" SSJ forms, and then after Cell kills Android 16, during Gohan's internal monologue you can see his eyes fade from turquoise to gray, to crimson, to bright red in real time as his emotions start to stir within? Unless I'm misremembering and he wasn't even in SSJ1 in that scene.

Nice idea! It's always possible for old concepts like this to come back, and I'd actually like to see something new be passed onto characters like Goten and Trunks. It would give them something to do and would be a way for them to catch up with the stronger characters.

@@InnovativeJdawg Definitely and it be cool if it gave them Ssj4 personalities and savagery as well as well as make them more bloodthirsty in battle in which they have to learn to truly control these forms. Plus it would make the Super Saiyan God forms and Ultimate forms from the Elder Kai ritual even stronger for them.

@@InnovativeJdawg Another idea is if Goku and Vegeta have Goten and Trunks train with King Kai on King Kai’s planet where Goten and Trunks actually learn Kaioken. Then Goten and Trunks participate in a ritual with one of the Kais. And then the boys are asked to use Kaioken x20 and combine Kaioken x20 with Super Saiyan, which they do. So as they’re working on combine them dangerously and just about to die, the ritual prevents them from dying and then they finally combine Kaioken x20 and Super Saiyan together creating “Kaio Super Saiyan”. Kaio Super Saiyan is now stronger than Ssj3 and can become even stronger and while the hair is still blonde, the eyes are now red and the Aura is red and yellow with the red representing Kaioken. Also I feel that Goten and Trunks should be a lot more aggressive, savage, and bloodthirsty as well a lot more Focused as Kaio Super Saiyan should effect them mentally too. And since Kaio Super Saiyan is a new super Saiyan transformation, the multipliers for each Kai Super Saiyan form should act differently. So since this form is a combination of Kaioken mixed with Super Saiyan, the Kaioken also uses all Super Saiyan forms including the god forms to their maximum potential and this new form can be multiplied by 20 times. So the multiplier for Kaio Super Saiyan should go from x1,000 to x20,000, then something that would be cool for Kssj2 is that is actually multiplies twice from Kssj1 at x20,000 so then Kaio Super Saiyan 2 is x40,000 with x800,000 at full power after being mastered and being able to go much higher when enhanced, and just like for Kssj2, Kaio Super Saiyan 3 multiplies 4 times from Kssj2 at x800,000, so then Kaio Super Saiyan 3 is x3,200,000 and x64,000,000 at full power when Kssj3 is mastered. Or another option is if Goten and Trunks actually achieve and master Super Saiyan 2 and achieve and improve Super Saiyan 3 in the Time Chamber before the ritual, then Goten and Trunks should actually combine Kaioken x20 with ether a mastered Super Saiyan 2 or an enhanced and improved Super Saiyan 3. So then we get Kaio Super Saiyan or True Power Super Saiyan going from x2,000 to x40,000 if Kaioken x20 and Ssj2 are combined together in the ritual or True Power Super Saiyan can go from x8,000 to x160,000 if Kaiokenx20 and Ssj3 are combined together in the ritual. On top of that, if Goten and Trunks achieve the Super Saiyan Rage ability, it will be much stronger since they would have the Kaio Super Saiyan forms. Plus all the Super Saiyan God forms for Goten and Trunks would be much stronger now. And if they don’t call it Kaio Super Saiyan, they could still call it True Power Super Saiyan or the next best thing, “Ultimate Super Saiyan”. Also another idea for Ssj with red eyes is all the things I said, but instead of a ritual, Goku and King Kai actually create a new type of Kaioken that is much stronger and safer and is able to be combined with any Super Saiyan form and it still gives the red eye effect.

Definitely, I would've enjoyed seeing the red eyes, but it's hard to imagine Super Saiyan any other way. It's just too iconic!

@@InnovativeJdawg I may be very late but Red eyed saiyans exist in 2 different ways one is from the Time-Breaker mask even when they go SSJ their eyes remain red and then there’s Cumber’s Evil or Ancient Saiyan Power which when a Saiyan uses this ancient power it causes them to bulk-up, gain a red and black aura, grow a tail, and their hair grows to ssj3 lengths and the red eye feature has only of the ancient Saiyan power has only shown itself in Cumber and even then sometimes he has just green eyes but I believe his red eyes signify him using more of his power however the ancient Saiyan power is still “natural” to a Saiyan whereas the mask is obviously for anyone made by Towa and also the ancient Saiyan power boost is no joke it’s able to push SSB Vegeta to MUI Goku level and it’s able to push Turles from SSJ level to stronger then SSB level

I believe Super Sonic's design was actually inspired by this initial concept, either way though, it's an interesting comparison!

Super Sonic came after Super Saiyan, and the red eye super saiyan design was before Super Saiyan was finalized

They’re a light blue, blueish green. Their color has slightly shifted over time and depending on what material people are coming off of, it’s fine to say either. Nobody is saying a GREEN green, they’re meaning like a turquoise or a blue green.

What if we changed colours for some characters? Like Goku and maybe even Gohan could have the red eyes, Vegeta coule have royal blue and Future Trunks could have purple or yellow.

The “oozaru” form had red eyes just like the oozaru from the manga and anime, but there’s no sign of super saiyan in the film at all.
