Would Druig even be able to mind-control Thanos? He needed a huge power boost to mind-control a baby Celestial, while Mantis was able to mind-control the Celestial Ego without too much trouble and yet she still had a hard time mind-controlling Thanos. Also, Endgame Thanos was able to fight Iron Man, Captain America and Thor combined and win, so I think he should be more than capable of fighting Thena, Gilgamesh and Ikaris as well.

Thanos' biggest weakness is underestimating his opponents and their ability to use teamplay and tactics to defeat him. The Eternals were created to destroy Deviants and Thanos has the Deviant gene. He is the kind of abomination they were created to destroy. They'd swiftly deal with him. Spider-Man had Thanos wigging out for a moment and he's not a speedster. Their speedster would completely confuse Thanos.

The least you could do is give him some of the stones or his sword and Cull obsidian.

It would be a interesting fight for sure but the fact is that the Eternals were ordered not to get in the way shows us their limits. Also Thanos has better reaction time and since he'll be using the Time Stone, he can freeze time all around him so he can take out the ones who will give him the most trouble. Further more he'll use the Mind Stone to counter that other guy's mind playing powers.

I get Wanda, and even Carol to an extent, but having every woman on the battlefield magically happen to be in the same spot with no men around just to wipe the floor with Thanos just puller me right out of the movie. And before any idiots out there comment that this is misogynistic, remember that we all love the MCU ladies (except Carol) and want more of them. It just needs to make sense. It needs just as much effort put into it as the male characters. That scene was pandering. You must've forgotten how these movies went Danco. The Eternals are going up against Thanos with all the Infinity gems, In Avengers IW he was only missing 2. Also, if the Avengers and the Eternals teamed up against Thanos, the planet Earth would have been destroyed sooner because when Thanos snapped and decreased the population, it took a bit longer for the celestial to be born.

You forget that Thanos was surprised and it’s the only reason they almost got the gauntlet off, not to talk of Dr. Strange who made it possible for someone like mantis(who could also subdue Ego) to get close to him, and even she found it difficult to keep him in that state for a while. If there’s no surprise and Thanos know exactly what to expect, the Eternals aren’t getting close to Infinity War Thanos.

Say what you want about Eternal, but Mercaris running cgi hits hard, comes close second to X-men’s Quicksilver bullet time

Once again, Thanos TRUE powers and abilities were extraordinarily nerfed to allow the gauntlet to shine in avengers Infinity war... His Inherent powers as an eternal, combined with powers bestowed unto him by mistress death, and certain technologies have allowed him abilities such as - Cosmic Energy manipulation (powerful energy blasts from his hands), force field creation, matter manipulation, telepathy, perception and Madness manipulation (AKA The Mind Sync Time Warp) levitation, teleportation, Soul manipulation, petrification, telekinesis, astral projection, possession, life force manipulation and dissolution, portal creation and it goes much further. With the exception of the snap, the reality warping, and reversing time to reanimate vision, pretty much all the feats that he accomplished in Infinity war using the stones, he could do in the comics with zero stones... And lots more. Ultimately that means the power of the Infinity gauntlet was extraordinarily nerfed in Infinity war and endgame, and by extension, Thanos powers and abilities were extraordinarily nerfed in those movies as well.

Thanks was going around wiping out the 1/2 the population on various worlds. Celestials need lots of intelligent life. They even created beings to protect the intelligent life. But those same Celestials didn’t think that maybe, just maybe, Thanos should he stopped?

If Thanos fights the Enternals, he will lose for sure. here is why: case 1 The Infinity Thanos: if Thanos has the gauntlet, Druig will mind control him while Gilgamesh tries to take the gauntlet out of his hand, and while others try to hold him off, then Makkari takes the stones far away from Thanos then Thena will cut off his head. or if Gilgamesh can't take off the gauntlet, either Thena will cut Thanos's head while Druig's mind controls him or cut Thanos's hand out so the gauntlet will be removed. In the first case, there are 6 outcomes if the Eternals fight Thanos so I just name a few. case 2 The End Game Thanos: if Thanos summons his army to fight the Eternals, Makkari and Sersi will both defeat his army along with Phastos and Kingo in order to wipe out his army asap so they can focus on Thanos. After Thanos's army is done, Ajak will heal who is wounded and combine all the Eternal to fight the mad titan, Sersi will materialize his gauntlet as well as Thanos's weapon and armor which makes him more vulnerable from Ikaris and Gilgamesh with the other Eternals as well. In case 2 there are 10 outcomes so Thanos will be heavily damaged and can be easily killed by the Eternals. In conclusion, the Eternals are way stronger, more powerful, and more experienced than the Avengers and Thanos himself. Which means if Thanos fights against the Eternals, he already lose from the beginning, either with the gauntlet or not.

Ikaris' heat vision was barely able to affect the deviant in eternals. Hulk is stronger than Ikaris and Gilgamesh. Athenas blades maybe could pierce him but its not certain. They can't even speedblitz him. Thor is insanely fast as well. Given that, it's unlikely the eternals can defeat him. Thor alone is more powerful than the eternals individual. End game Thor may be out of shape and practice but he overpowered Thanos...yet Thanos with sheer skill prevailed. Thanos stomps them.
