Am Moroccan, and Let me sum up to y'all, since y'all know nothing about Morocco, clearly... So here it is, you as a foreigner coming to live in Morocco, you will be respected and welcomed by everybody, you will have this privilege, a priority in almost every aspect (which is a bad thing, since we should all be treated equally, but it is what it is, people put foreigners in a high status) of course as long as you yourself show respect and understanding and effort. Anyway, if you make a relatively good income, let's say at least 1500$ a month and up, you will most definitely live so comfortably, and any concerns you may have in your mind about religion won't be of any issue whatsoever, because I saw a few comments that mentioned religion and made it seem like a problem, media screwed you up unfortunately. The only issue you may face, is language, because first comes Arabic and Tamazight, then French, then Spanish and English. Free Healthcare and education is to be avoided, because it's very low compared to your standards. But, private sector in both Healthcare and education is in great shape, so as long as you have a good income like I mentioned above, pay and you'll be taken care of, you won't need to worry about it. In terms of security, it's safe, other than pickpocket, there's nothing to be afraid of. You might get scammed a few times with prices, till you get used to everything then you'll learn. I think these are the issues you might have to keep in mind, I hope I did good explaining what to expect, and just help y'all understand, because most of you are wrong and bad in geography, you need first to learn that Africa is huge, and every region is different than the other, even within the countries of North Africa, each country is different from the other, in every way possible, other than language and religion, there's no other similarities, in terms of economic, political and social differences. One more thing, spending a few days in one city, and neighborhood, nor watch a 5min video, won't teach you nothing about the country you want to live in, you need more time to learn and observe. I encourage you to watch people who are actual expats in Morocco, they may provide you with necessary information and advice from an expat point of view. Thank you all, and good luck
