The Panana Canal is easy to cross as all you need to do is establish naval dominance and send ships in to help infantry traverse, but the Darién Gap is complete jungle, which would already be hard to traverse, yet it's also filled with (I don't know what they're called) hostile people with lots of guns that would injure and kill American Troops, therefore it's sometimes considered impossible to push through or capture.

@Thanoskid The Panama Canal is further north than the Darién Gap and again, taking naval dominance would be easy for America. The people in the Darién Gap are pretty fierce (if I remember) and also have lots of guns and will attack the US's military without any hesitation. It would also cause attrition. It's just not a good idea to try and pass it by land than ignoring it and waiting for them to capitulate.

Darien Gap is a issue only if America want to invade South America, specifically Columbia. Once Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean are secured, invasion of S. America would involve securing major cities, establish "beach head" the expend from there. The rest of the country side can be left on the wine. FYI about the Darien Gap - It is expensive, man power intensive and ecologically sensitive area to build a road. It is not impossible. War time tend to make certain impossible thing possible. America build a road through BC and Yukon Territory in muddy, then freezing weather in less then a year during WWII and the Darien Gap is only 200 miles long.

It's not realistic cause Canada's geography makes it hard to invade and Canadian troops do know guerilla warfare and tactics also Canada has more relations with other countries and also Canada has a huge economy witch it could invesst in the military the UN would declare war on the us and countries would leave nato Canada would form canzuk andd Russia wouldd join and many countries that america funds occupation s and genocides and america would be fighting a 100 front war

Amazing videos! Though I think geography is a huge part of wars. Not only the Amazon, but also the Andes, mountains of Mexico, and Rockies. This is very well demonstrated in the border conflicts between India and Pakistan. India is no doubt much stronger, but the mountains are like a natural border because no matter what equipment you have someone could always be hiding around the corner.

No, the real reason is because Pakistan has nukes. Actually, the Indo-Gangetic plain which spans both countries is very flat and easy to traverse.

@@scholaroftheworldalternatehist You should read more about the world. India has many more nukes and soldiers, and most of the **disputed** border is in the mountains. The border in the plains and desert is very friendly.

I’ll give you the short answer. At first yes, but it will win into the problem that it’s recourses aren’t as good, so they’ll run out and eventually give up. However is other countries start collapsing before America, it’s possible America could win.

well i mean speaking here it probably would mean that all the countries send a part of the army to the front lines in other countries cause they are all here to defeat USA so in Mexico it wouldn't just be Mexican troops so in fact USA would have a really hard time invading Mexico and probably lose on many parts of the attack since the entire of Americas except for Canada since of capitulation and its blocked off by America from the others are basically fighting for one thing and many countries in the Americas are powerful so all of them put together and USA's disorganization and the fact that they are some what tired from the invasion of Canada while the other countries troops are fresh USA will really struggle and probably lose not only that their navy is powerful but its the entire Americas vs USA here so they might still win there but they will also struggle and their gonna have a big problem with money and resources not only that many protests and rebellion's that don't want war so USA will be in chaos and lose
