Could These REPLACE Nike SB DUNKS?!

Could the Nike SB Force 58 replace the Nike SB Dunks? Nike SB Dunks are some of the best skate shoes but they are almost impossible to get your hands on. For this reason it could be that the Nike SB Force 58 are replacing the Nike SB Dunks for your average skater that wants the Nike SB Dunk look without paying insane reseller price tags. The Nike SB Force 58 is very similar in look to the Nike SB Dunks however the outsole is the biggest difference. The Nike SB Dunks have a hefty cupsole where the cupsole on the nike sb force 58 is a light flexible material. The Nike SB Force 58 has better board feel but is not quite as durable as the nike sb dunk. Both shoes are great but at the price point I'd take the force 58 every time.

Now that is a wear test! Grabbed 2 pairs Force 58 recently. Skated dunks around 10 years ago but it’s been awhile. Like many, stopped skating cupsoles and went all vans vulc for a long time. Last summer tried some Es Quattro’s and fell in love with cupsoles again. Im excited to skate my Force 58s soon.

I just found some 2007 sb corduroy brown CL dunks at my local, the sole is starting to separate but I’m gonna see if I can go get them fixed up so I can skate em.

Yes: the Nike AF1 will always have room in my house bc it's a versatile silhouette. It's a staple for everyday wearers. SBs on the other hand are a more niche market. with Nikes resources, they could just as easily circulate neubuck SBs like AF1s so that they sit on shelves for retail, but I don't see SBs as versatile as AF1s or Adidas superstars for example. Hence Nike will probably focus on other silhouettes for 2022

I just brush super glue over the laces, that’s what I do on my Nyjah II’s, brush some super glue over the exposed lace loops and the part of the mesh wear my heel flips make contact, and I never tear a lace or through the mesh on those shoes

I have the Barcelona sb dunks and i am currently skating Them, they feel super good and i think if u have Them you should skate Them. I Think the closest you will get to a dunk is the new sb Ishod

I have had the nike sb team, which have the same sole construction. I was very disappointed when a hole went through the sole and discovered its honey comb structure inside. Since them I have only skated dcshoes. Give a shout out for 🇪🇸

got the same dunk you have for 130 dlls, just skated them once and i dont know if i should keep skating them even tho they are meant for skateboarding lol, don't really think the could replace sb dunks but are a nice alternative

I have a few pairs of Dunks I managed to cop in the raffles (I'm in between sizes in a small size so I guess the competition isn't as tough) but I'm reluctant to skate them until I'm a better skater, I don't want to be looking like a poser doing a mob kickflip in Dunks.
