It isn't as explicit, but he's still mumbling chants after getting hit in the heart, yet Maki still dodged - his inner thoughts even chime in to say she can see and dodge his cuts better than anyone else. She doesn't necessarily scale to it, since she dodged via her precognition, but she did dodge it nonetheless.

@@heinsderr7323 in the one panel that everyone shows that she dodged one we can see two things wrong so first the requirements for wcs are the chants a point to target and then the hands sign when he does it against kashimo we can clearly see all three requirements when he dies it against maki though he doesn't have the hand signs made nor does he have one of the arms required so what he's doing is just sending a chant amped dismantle at maki and pointing to target a specific direction

Let's not even mention that he used the same chanting for the WCS, and that he already used it once without the need to do anything beforehand in the story. Plus, it manifested in the same way as the WCS did, with a clear distinction between their drawing styles.

I think Yuji can still take out Maki in plain ground 1v1: - his CT output might be mid, but its still damage even if just a mildly deep cut -far as we know, Yuji cleave and Dismantle work by him touching the target spot, so there's no dodging the slashes for Maki. She has to throw hands and runs the risk of getting hit with cleave everytime yuji gets a touch. -Maki is faster but not enough to one-shot or blitz Yuji with a soul split sword straight to head or vital area -a single black flash and it goes downhill for maki (Yuji is extremely good at landing them) *IF* the fighting ground has any kind of structures, will give advantage to Maki's abilities of attacking from blind spots and potentially landing her finishers to end fight faster. And tbh still Yuji can still make the structures insufficient for hiding mid battle by attacking them aswell

Yuji used dismantle while making contact with Sukuna because that's how he interacts with the boundary of the soul between Sukuna and Megumi. Nonetheless, she has the range advantage due to cursed tools and precognition allowing her to predict the movements of attacks far faster than Yuji himself. - Maki's movement speed is actually comparedable to all of the other heavy hitters including Yuji. She shouldn't blitz Yuji so I actually agree with you, since no one said that she'd blitz him anyway. - And those black flashes aren't stronger than Sukuna's. A single black flash from Yuji isn't going to do anything major here. Yuji is only good at landing them when he has backup and when he is in a battle for an extended period. Maki wins this 7/3 times.

While Hakari might be effectively invincible, Yuji(with simple domain) withstood Sukuna's full powered domain for 90 seconds, only losing a leg. He effectively forced a 4 black flash amped Sukuna into using his domain and straight-up blocked a black flash from Sukuna without any noticeable harm(compare that to Maki). Before his awakening, his speed and strength were relative to a domain amped Yuta. After 7 20% buffs to his cursed energy, he should be vastly superior and it's shown in him fodderizing the same Sukuna that essentially two-shot Maki. Let's get it across: Yuji in pure stats is superior to anyone not named Sukuna or Gojo. Most of the top tiers don't have the attack power to put him down(especially with blood manipulation and rct) and even if they had the power to attack the soul, Yuji knows the soul better than anyone and has the best chance finding a method of rct on his soul. Yuji low-diffs Hakari Yuji mid-diffs Maki/Toji with ISOH(without ISOH it's low-diff) Yuji loses to Yuta & Rika cause that domain & ct are broken. None of these need an explanation
