Countdown to Corvette dyno tune appointment, will we make it - Kruesi Vlog # 87
In this episode we continue the engine install on the C5 Corvette drift car
with only 23 hours to the dyno tune appointment.
We also build a new throttle pedal, install the exhaust and continue the motor assembly with help from Earl's Fittings, Holly Performance parts , MSD Atomic Airforce intake manifold for the C5 Corvette Drift car.
We also ask the question... when this is all done, will the hood close?

Be happy you don’t have the antifreeze cooled throttle body , not that you don’t have enough issues

Low voltage will definitely give you issues..might be a little late for some advice but I would double check to make sure your getting rpm signal from the crank and cam sensor. Long nights and you think you plunged something in but forgot. Great job on the content.

It’s because we removed the flyby wire system. The car goes into a automatic shutdown and kills the ignition system.

I know this comment is probably a little tardy to the party, but if you take the positive cable from the battery and ground it out on the negative lead with everything hooked up it will discharge capacitors that store memory in all the computers/modules. I've used this on a couple LS swap no-start conditions, doesn't solve your problem but it at least gets you to a true square one 🤙🏻

Might look into some ICT remote coil mounts. Those, coil wire extensions and Taylor plug wires. You can put those coils anywhere.

I might have to do that like relocate them on the firewall or something. I don’t think the hood is going to close.

Current performance may be custom pigtails or harness adapters. Maybe racetronix also

So right now I have a chance to either get a rhd fd3s or a c5 corvette... each time I watch these I'm leaning towards that vette... but my rotardedness is making me hold out on that fd

I would love an FD. I had a few FC’s. They’re just really gutless unless you put a lot of boost to them. Corvette and they have a V8. You have to put a Angle kit on them or they aren’t worth a shit though.
