Airbus' hydrogen-powered aircraft is taking shape. Last time, we talked about one of the most promising propulsion candidates, which is the hydrogen fuel cell. Discover how Airbus is putting them to the test before flight.

First of all airbus you could make the a380 or a350 hydrogen because development of zeroe will be high I think? When you make your 320 220 350 330 340 it will be the same cost for aircraft body but not engine I don't know if engine is cheap or expensive. If its cheap make an other aircraft or If they are expensive put them on 320 220 350 330 340

I won't ever fly on a hydrogen powered aircraft. Hydrogen atom is the second tiniest in the known universe and when it is in liquid form one tiny leak and boom. The weight of the tanks alone will mean the aircraft will have almost no reasonable range.
@spaceshiprat7514 ай бұрын
leaks may not be prevented but can and should be adressed properly. Due to the light density it is prawn to rise anyways which makes the probabilty of creating an explosive atmosphere much less likely. Still you should watch out for cavities where it could agglomerate. The problem i see is the infrastructure nescessary to implement hydrogen powerd planes though. Politics play a mayor roll here.
