2:30 It actually makes a lot of sense that the Roblox one is more complex and generally a better representation of CS than the Minecraft one. Minecraft was built from the ground up as a game, with modding and minigames like Minecraft CS being implemented with all sorts of weird plugins and features. Roblox, however, is built and marketed as a full game engine. It's got full Lua scripting for practically anything you can imagine, a dynamic lighting engine, the ability to import custom models and sounds and textures and other assets, and more. It used to be a brick building game with a little engine built in back in 2006 (yes, 2006 - Roblox predates Minecraft. I even played Roblox as a little kid before I played Minecraft), and has evolved since then to a form my 2009 self would not recognize at all. I don't really like Roblox as compared to when I was a kid, but I gotta admit, if you can create Counter-Strike within it, it's a fully fledged game engine. That's the one main thing I don't like about Roblox these days, though. Back when the engine was more limited and stuff was zanier and more silly and I was younger, the site was filled with kids making goofy things that were fun to play, even if basic. These days, all people make are clones of more popular games, like CS, Fortnite, COD zombies, that sort of thing. Plus, back when the engine had less features and you had less control over how games played out, everything was less predictable. The physics engine would sometimes send players flying in specific situations. Hell, people actually USED the physics engine for more than just background noise back in the day. There were all sorts of games that would have never happened without Roblox's classic physics engine. However, these days, everyone on the site is concerned with making a professional game, and professional games don't do zany things with the physics that lead to fun minigames or zany "Send all your friends to space with this souped up rocket launcher" games. I guess it was the only logical path for Roblox, but nowadays it's a faint, vague shell of what I remember as a kid, and I don't know if that's really better.
