Great lesson! Playing a melody on the bottom while maintaining a higher voice is something I've always found tricky, but I just love it's sound. Anyway, thanks for the lesson :)

Hey my friend you are a brilliant teacher very easy to understand Species 4th of counterpoint can we say it alternates between melody a and b ?? Thanks for lesson once again

Thanks so much! Please do check out some of the other stuff on the channel if you get a chance. Regarding Species 4, it's more like 1:1, but it's slightly displaced and uses suspensions (at least according to what I remember from traditional counterpoint study).
