Wow, just WOW! I saw this for the first time back in the summer of '76. I regret not seeing it last December, but this video was almost like being there. Nice job Craig! Gave me goosebumps. Made me smile. Made me cry. Y'all done Marc Davis proud!

Tried to plan a quick trip down there to say goodbye to one of my favorites since I was a kid in the 70’s, but I just had too much going on this month… Thank you for doing such a great job with filming it for those of us who couldn’t be there! Now let’s hope they do it justice with the new show. 🤞🏻

It’s been an honor to experience this ride over the years. The memories made with family and friends! Future generations won’t understand the pure joy this ride brought to soo many people. I will miss this ride truly 😭💔 Thank you Country Bears for all the amazing memories over the years. You will forever truly be missed. I’m sure the new revamped version will still be amazing. I’m excited to see the new animatronics and to see how far technology has come, but nothing will beat the original Country Bears. 🐻

I notice the songs and dialogue are already different from opening day. It used to start - "Howdy folks. Welcome to the one and only original Country Bear Jamboree, featuring a bit of Americana, our musical heritage of the past. But enough of this chit chat, yick yack, and flim flam. Just refrain from hibernating, and we'll all enjoy the show...because we got a lot to give. [Melvin]Hey! He's a regular Liberace. [Buck]And he plays good, too." It's also missing "Fractured Folk Song" and " Pretty Little Devilish Mary".

And I remember the Mama opossum singing, Lord, I Wish I Was Single Girl Again 😢, she was at a wash tub and I think a baby was clinging to her tail. I understand why this is gone but loved Country Bear Jamboree. Did the hibernating bear still snore when you wandered in Country Bear territory?

Perfectly done guys, this is exactly what needed to be done and you did it best. I will definitely miss it. You can definitely see the animatronics are worn out, the movements are janky and not as pronounced as they once were and the eyes are definitely messed up, but this will always be one of my favorites, remember seeing it at 5 in 1985. Thanks for doing this!
