Love the new show! I think it will be helpful for kids since the music will feel more familiar to them.

Good eye, I didn't even notice that! The new animatronics in general seem so powerful and smooth- from Ernest quickly swinging his body from side to side and fiddling so fast that I'm shocked the animatronic didn't actually catch fire, to Big Al swaying drastically and even having the long-broken "falling back" effect working again! My only AA complaint is that they didn't give Shaker the independently moving hips that the DL and TDL versions of his animatronic have. My only other complaint outside of that is the lack of a voice for Ernest- but overall this is such a great refurb!

@@NotTelling-xs4rv Yeah, they use it for the end of his reprise! He falls backwards pretty far and then the curtains shake violently. Also another fun detail- when Al comes back out, the Sun Bonnets, who are still lowering into the stage, turn their attention to him and point- a small detail that most won't notice, but a very nice one!

I just feel like this was a missed opportunity for Dolly to write the musical numbers so it's still unique and thematically appropriate and not IP music that doesn't really fit. I don't mind change, but I do mind when a land loses its immersiveness. Frontierland just feels less like I've left today to enter the past, and more like gentrification.

Dolly has her own theme park and other things to worry about...she doesn't need the added stress of trying to write generic country songs for robtoic Disney bears.

Original all the way but the new one isn’t terrible. Just too sterile and IP heavy. At least we didn’t get anything like tianas or even the dreaded Toy Story puppet show that was slated to come a few years back

Great camera work ❤! Too much IP music. Lost the original charm. Maybe it will appeal to a younger audience. Not my cup of scotch.

This could have been awesome. New original music, updated animatronics, and costuming. But they went cheap and shortcuts. I could have loved it like I have since it opened.

@@RenDisKenn this show is not cheap. It’s very complicated and what are you talking about? They have all new outfits and every single animal electronic is new with the newest models. Also, why would they make the same show with country music, that was one of the main reasons why no one went because no one really cared to hear that so why would they just repeat the same thing? At least make your argument Make sense. The show has also always been for younger audiences so, also not everything has to be this huge thing. It’s just a show buddy

I think it’s moderately enjoyable still, not gold to the original but this is the best retheme Iger has done to a classic so

How can Disney do so good with this and others. And complete mess up Splash. Tiana is such a woke disaster. A lot of influencers won’t even talk about it. The ones that don’t get Disney $ will though. How can they mess that up so bad.

Probably because Tiana was a DEI driven project from top to bottom whereas this and other projects were likely imagineer driven even if executives put some creative restrictions in place.

@@JRH-1007 Agreed. Tiana was not done by the best and brightest. Clearly the opposite. And I hope those aren’t allowed to sweep a floor in the future.

@@kellyj5389I feel the same way. A DEI housecleaning can’t come soon enough. It will never happen under Iger, but hope some miracle happens before the TBA crew gets too many projects under their belts.
