I love country joe and the fish, I don't think they are or were the greatest psychedelic rock band ever, but they do certainly have the greatest psychedelic songs ever, in my opinion, and were definitely a revolutionary band, also very underrated... IN OTHER WORDS, I LOVE COUNTRY JOE AND THE FISH

Try to gather 500,000 people today, from all walks of life, in a field in upstate New York, and I guarantee that you'll have mass hysteria, mass murder and mass arrests before you can throw down and say MARIJUANA! A part of me is glad that we'll never see anything like this again, because that makes what happened all the more special for those who were lucky enough to experience the wonder that was Woodstock.

Syphilus was something that seemed to have disappeared in those days. We learned about "VD", or venereal diseases; syphilus and gonhorrhea were the 2 biggies, but I never heard of anyone who had it. Herpes was the biggest scare to come along - but it was nothing compared to AIDS. Now syphilus has made a big comeback in Calgary - and Banff (STD Capital of North America), so it seems people are just way more indiscriminate about who they sleep with than they were in the 60s.

They still relax some people!!!...:)O(:..
@RustyRoofieChannel10 жыл бұрын
Charles Chandler Well cigarettes makes you feel you relaxed because smoking one calms the addiction/need while marijane gets you blasted for real an hour or two :P And since marijuana is not filled with cancerigene shits by tobaco companies I guess it makes it a bit more healty
@CharlesCCRidesChandler10 жыл бұрын
I see...so you are saying that pot is less harmful from a 'cancer' standpoint than cigarettes???
@RustyRoofieChannel10 жыл бұрын
Charles Chandler Well I would say yes, just take a look at the ingredients of a single cigarette ! The tobaco industry made cigarettes a cancer reference with all the chemicals they dump in it ... mostly to keep people hooked ... And how many deaths every year caused by cigarettes ? Weed probably ain't really good for the lungs since it is smoke but it is not that bad since there is nothing chemical or cancerigene in it (unless your dealer shooted it with coke or something making it some too damn strong strain but that's really rare) If we were talking about tobaco straight from the field vs. weed from the field too, I guess it would be pretty close tho :P
