One of the best traditions in all of college sports. WVU also has the best logo, colors, and mascot in the NCAA.

Yes, it's a very common song to hear. The bars would play it at midnight too and of course everyone would sing it (or at least they used to 10-12 years ago, I'm sure they still do). Nobody that went to WVU hasn't sang this song a thousand times lol.
