I took my daughter to a home game 3 years ago.. There is nothing like standing there singing that song with a statism full of Mountaineer fans.. I will never forget it

As an English person I struggle to get my head around this as our sports system is very different. Only the very elite football teams like Manchester United get massive crowds like this, most of our stadiums only hold between 15,000 and 40,000 and rarely full and that’s for professional teams, literally nobody watches school/college/uni sports here

Kicked off two college football programs in one year: It is reported that Carswell had made the trip with the Mountaineers to Fort Worth for the TCU game, leading to rumors that the incident resulting in his suspension and apparent dismissal occurred in Texas. Mario Alford, another junior college transfer, stepped into Carswell's place on the roster for the TCU game, making three catches for 62 yards. A former standout recruit at Alabama, Carswell transferred to WVU this year after being suspended for the Crimson Tide's 2012 spring season. He spent the 2012 season playing for Itawamba (Miss.) Community College. Carswell's suspension from the Crimson Tide was also for unspecified reasons.

37-7 my favorite game of last season but I give Mountaineer fans credit for still standing by their team the week after that smackdown in Baltimore. Before you hate on me WVU fans, I have serious respect for you guys and I'm still disappointed the ACC wouldn't let you in and I'm glad we could keep this rivalry going in our new conferences. Oh and one more thing GO TERPS!!!
