Country singer Lily Rose on Villain, LGBTQ acceptance, and dreams to one day collab with Demi Lovato

Our Head of Talent, Anthony Allen Ramos speaks with country singer Lily Rose about bursting onto the charts with her song “Villain” after she posted a clip on Tik Tok in December which went viral and has millions of views. The out singer/songwriter who is now signed with Big Loud Records, Back Blocks Music and Republic Records also talks about Nashville becoming more progressive when it comes to acceptance of LGBTQ artists, and she also talks about her dream to one day collaborate with Demi Lovato! Rose just released a new single “Remind Me Of You” where she sings about a lost female love. The song was co-written by country superstar Sam Hunt and is available now.

Saw her perform live at the Grand Ole Opry last week when she was invited to be a member of the .Grand Ole Opry - my first time there. She was great, loved her singing voice. Especially when she sang two flowers. So I’am a new fan & she is very talented.

Nashville final nail. I mean it’s been on life support since 1998. Nothing against this lady but their is a genre and scene for her. Country has a certain sound, ethics, morals, and based in traditional Americana, music, Christian values.
