Hopefully one day the Galicians will wake up and remember who they are, and what language they should speak.

Lol, with the heart of Dacia!! ❗But *girlfriend?!* Gf is a crush that you have for a while, who is *not* related to you, and you could have children or a serious relationship/collaboration with, or not... that is extremely insulting to say as a Romanian.

Actually, Chad wanted this flag 🇲🇱 ( but it was already taken by Mali). So Chad decided to change green with blue. 🇲🇱➡️🇹🇩. At that time, Romania's flag had the communist coat of arms. That's why Chad didn't put a coat of arms on its flag. Maybe Chad thought Communist regimes from Central and Eastern Europe will never fall. Bulgaria - brother in law (we coexisted in Medieval times in the same borders. Asen was known as Rex Bulgarorum et Blachorum - King of the Bulgarians and Vlachs). We had disputes because of two stupid kings that we had starting with the 1900s and ironically were Germans. Serbia - sister in law (great cooperation and peaceful relations since medieval times, plus the fact that our Royal families were/are related) Transylvania - The Godmother that didn't know about its family. Greece - the best neighbor we never had (across the street) Hungary - grumpy neighbor who used to argue with its other neighbors alot, but now it's ok.

Kind of sad how Russia became that, after all the Czars liberated multiple ethnic peoples from the Ottoman Empire, particularly in the 1870s. They sadly went from heroes to villains in the eyes of many (especially from 1917 on).

Italy Is the third country for Number of Romanian speakers After Romania and Moldova. In some districts of Rome, Romanians are about 10%. The fun fact Is that many Moldovans i Met in Italy spoke Russian.

Fun indeed. As I had many projects in Chisinau, I got used to the workers speaking Russian when they wanted to hide something from me. I would let them do it just to see their faces in the end, when I would reply in Russian to them :) On the other hand, I've met enough Russians in Moldova or even Romania that speak Romanian with no trace of foreign accent and very correctly.

Actually, Bulgaria is a brother to Romania. A lot of Romanians have Bulgarian gens in them , we just speak a different language because of Byzantium people who ran away in Wallachia(at the time part of Bulgaria) around the 14th century “to hide” from the Ottoman Empire which was coming, mixed with the Bulgarians around Bucuresti and created a mixture of both languages(a Bulgarian dialect and “Byzantium language/Latin”. So Romanians/Moldovans are brothers to us!💪

Never heard of this theory before. You're fully aware that the Byzantines were actually Greeks right? So where's the Greek heritage in the Romanian language? Cause we can't see it in today's language. Romanian is a latin based language which was influenced by the Slavic migration around it. The Vlachs (early Romanians) assimilated Slavic culture and language while the Bulgarians did the same with the Vlachs at south of the Danube. After the 1st Bulgarian Empire ceased to exist due to Byzantine victory which killed most Bulgarians fighting and tortured the Vlachs, the 2nd empire emerged through the dinasty of Asan. Vatican called him in official documents Rex et Bulgarorum et Blachorum. (King of the Bulgarians and Vlachs). Bulgarians and Romanians may be considered cousins from their medieval co-existence, but still far from being the same people.

In reality Bulgaria is Romania's somewhat estranged half-brother.... Early medieval Romanian history is totally intertwined with Bulgarian , and from culture and traditions to language (Balkan Sprachbund) Romanian and Bulgarians are much closer than the Romance/Slavic language family difference would suggest. Similarly Serbia and Ukraine are cousins bc Romanian does not just have a daco/thraco-romance but also slavonic (slavic) roots...
