Thanks for the drive. Unusual to see a cool young guy driving one of these, I guess the Regal is so old & eccentric it has become cool itself 😁 Your video shows how far the engine is back from the front of the car, a bit warm on the leg in the Summer.

Great video. I was instantly transported back to 1980 when I had a Supervan III for a while. Great fun, especially with about 6 mates in it!

My first car was a 1971 regal saloon which I could drive on my motorbike licence. Paid £50 for it in 1982.

The vehicle used on Top Gear was modified to rollover ( softer rear springs), they don't do that in reality

No it isn’t! It’s got character and is a British classic! Much better than the dull modern cars you have today!

@@ExAnimoPortugal Technically it is a car, it has all the basic things a car has. The first car ever made had 3 wheels anyway. So the 3 wheeler was the original car.
