The sweetness of the strawberries intertwined with the slight sourness is like a beautiful symphony, with both sweet melodies and sour chords, together creating a feast for the tastebuds.
Strawberries here are usually grown in greenhouses, can be savoured from winter through to spring, it towards the end of strawberry season here, I would like to preserve the wonderful flavor by canning it.
Spring is also the season for excursions , We are heading off to an ancient village called "Xitang", about 30 minutes drive from the cottage, it's a beautiful and typical Jiangnan water town, which has more than 1000 years of history.
