I just found out tonight that my 5th great grandfather, John Crawford, was born in County Antrim. He then came to the US. I'm Peter Crawford-Valentino. This song really touched me as if it were my own story. Thank you for connecting to something real. I am going to get back there.

One day I will make it Co. Antrim, my ancestor Daniel O'Hara left Antrim in 1752...our names spelling has since been changed, but our roots are still in Ireland. Thank you for posting this, and making Antrim something real, not just something that I heard or read about!

My great-grandfather was one of those who had to leave Antrim. His parents died when he was a child. Thanks for the chance to see it.

My grandparents left Antrim about the same time and when they settled in the US on a small farm, the grandfather moved on toward the west coast of the US leaving the wife and children behind never to return. He was Patrick Devine.

Oh wow! That was awesome! I loved it. It was moving and brought tears to my eyes. But at the same time I smiled the entire time. It was truly wonderful. Btw, it's Kitty. Hehe.
