Hey, congrats on 700 subscribers! This light is a BEAST! Love it! Based on your previous fine review of the 14500 powered Maratac Mini LEP Cosmos, I purchased one from country comm. I can vouch for the quality of the light AND that company, & agree with your comments. Although not quite as potent as this light, the Mini is still an incredible light and definitely more pocket friendly. Thanks for that review because it’s now one of my favorite lights of all time. Hello my friend, I dropped a 👍 and you got a new sub. I really want to test this Maratac company,they look really cool. I love LEPS I only have one, it is the NEW Acebeam W35-lc-del zoom. It has a HUGE range of 2600 meters/8,500 feet,it is really cool. I have it on my channel if you want to see what it looks like. It blew my mind the first time I saw it. I REALLY love using Molicel P45B batteries they are amazing.... Also GREAT review btw.. I'm sorry to hear if your stroke. I hope you're feeling better and healing well. I'm 6'10" and I've had 4 back surgeries....it's rough many days....Praying for you. Have a great weekend

Well done review,very informative and to the point. This light is amazing how much range it really has for it's size. It reminds me of Lumintop design cues except with knurling. This is definitely on my list of lights to buy,thanks for the review!

Thank you for this review! What spec is that aplos battery? Maybe that's why your lumens outputs were lower? I saw some molicel p42b on sale for $6 so im gonna get two of those with my light.

This looks like an absolutely outstanding light. But watching it roll on your table is almost a deal breaker for me. Lights without milled flat surfaces on the case to keep them from rolling around when you need it is a severe tactical oversight. If I get one, I guess I’d have to look at putting it on my milling machine and milling some on there.

IDK, by the time you get to this price point I think they should include a battery. It's not made out of any exotic metals or trit included so there isn't any reason beside it's a laser. Those have been out long enough they don't demand premium prices I do like they have the disco mode hidden. Be a good light on my hog gun

I agree, I think they should include a battery with it. My guess why they don't would be because they're not primarily a flashlight manufacturer, maybe? I'm not really sure, honestly 🤣. The price for the light is only $149. But comparatively to other brands out there, it's a steal. It Out performs MANY of the others and costs considerably less. All and all, a great light, and it's priced way lower than the others. I prefer this one over the majority of my other ones. As always, thanks for watching!

How does this compare with the Cosmos? Obviously it's runtime is differant.

It's definitely quite a bit more powerful than the Cosmos. The significant difference is between running on the 14500 battery in the MINI and the 18650 or the 21700 in the DX Reach. Both are monsters, though. I love both of them equally! 🤣

Does it cause permanent eye damage at a short distance?

It's definitely a good possibility if you got it blasted directly in your eye for long enough, lol. It's a laser, so you'll want to err on the side of caution with it. It has the potential to be very dangerous if misused.

Maybe take the dip out while filming? I found it pretty distracting.

Funny thing about that....first of all I don't dip, nor have any "in while filming". I did recently have a stroke though and my speech is affected because of it. I'll definitely try harder just for you to not sound so distracting next time though Champ.
