Taking a look at all the cars in the Coupland fleet as of June 2024 - some are broken, some are sleeping and some are ongoing projects

What a great collection. My favourite is perhaps the white Proton SE. Love the seat trim on those Micras. Cute dog and cat too. 😍

I'm 100% behind the K11 Micra Sport recommissioning for Rustival 2. I'm also slightly in love with your other 2 K11s that are coming up for sale. I've had 3 K11s but have not owned one for 17 years and would love another. I'm sorely tempted by yours but living in a city centre flat with only on street parking makes it hard to find a place to put one. My wife is also dead against a 3rd car so I'd have to hide it

At 13:20, Jon, did you disable the key buzzer on your white 1.5SE MPi? I didn't hear the buzzing sound when you opened the door with the key in the ignition. I kind of missed that buzzing sound. Wow.. its a one-crank starts. Jon, remarkable job you did on your Protons. My favourite car in your collection is still the white Proton MPi 1.5SE.

Great video, Jon. You could try the wet sand method on the roof and bonnet of the Snail van. Just lightly sand the clear lacquer and then repray it with clear lacquer and maybe polish it afterwards. I had some great results covering some bumper scratches on my Bravo with a spray can of clear lacquer. It will not be 100% but a lot better.

Hey Jon, great idea about placing the Proton bonnet over your pond. Ive got nets over my Koi pond, but the damn seagull's use it as a trampoline to lower themselves into the water to pinch the food😒

Surprised you’d sell the TT Coupe over the Roadster. Convertibles usually feel a bit floppy compared to hard tops.

The coupe drives so much nicer ... But when I was given the Roadster it was with a caveat that it would be looked after and kept

Morning Jon hope you Dad and the family are having a nice weekend so far , just to say the Audi TT i reckon and no disrespect meant but you will be very lucky to get £2 grand due to the mileage and age of the vehicle as most dealers or even private buyers dont look at what works been done to a car , good example my 2013 Fiat 500 I have put £1000 into it by having the gearbox clutch and suspension fixed but most i can get for it with only 84 thousand on the clock is £2300 not good considering i paid £3000 for it only a few months ago , so yeah i hope you can get the money your looking for the TT but it wont be easy in the current climate.

I can pop it up for sale. If no one wants it no one wants it - I'm in no rush to release the money for it or the space. You will be surprised though that the colour really has a following. I recently turned down £7500 for my Roadster so there is a demand for the Purples

@@JonCoupland Yep 👍 a car that just works 😊 that's what I need as sadly the 500 is too much drama ,I had for example the boot warning ⚠️ lights come on dash but nothing was wrong , then I had a problem cold starting it the other day so I hope I can just sell it Soon cut my losses and get a cheap i10

Is it safe parking the cars on the grass? I heard it accelerates rust process but that's just what I heard.

Just abit of advise dont store cars on grass that you care about, as the rising moisture is never good for cars keeps the chassis permanently wet and encourages rust.

Obviously been a Toyota fan bot the MR 2 and l didn't know that the MR 2 is 40 years old there are plenty of 40 year old Toyota's around even a cuople around were l live and your MR 2 will be around for another 40 years as long as the rust doesn't get to it and l do like thr pink Fiat 500 matches your pink garden bench of couse a lot of Protons and tbe trouble with any car that is painted red it is tge worst colour to paint any vehicle it does deteriate especially in Australia because of the sun and a couple of your fieet you are selling on but not the very Protons
