Masters of songs about tanks is a band called Raubtier..... they have a bunch of tanks songs and sound like a "cooler" version of Rammstein. Achtung Panzer, Pansarmarsch etc. Fooking great band if you ever get to them or want to check them out... and they are from Happaranda, as far up in the north as is humanly possible.

Nice reaction & thumbs up! :) Good explanation of a PART of the Blitzkrieg-tactics. But using tanks was only one part of it. What it did the first time was the linking of aircraft and tanks and troops with wireless communications and turn those former seperated fighting units into one single tracked-flying-fast invading grinding machine. Blitzkrieg was an attacking with concentrated own forces at a weak point of the enemy front. The main element is velocity. Breaking through the front with combinded and concentrated forces at that weak point and get with lightning speed (Blitz = Lightning, Krieg = War, Lighting-War) behind the backs of the enemy troops and attack them in their rear and the front in a combined effort.
