Wow the bbq place denied they did anything then said it could have been the couples fault. Maybe they should have kept that part to themselves cuz the couple had already been through enough and they clearly already feel guilty enough without people accusing them of things they probably didn’t do!

The catering company has some nerve counter-suing considering how many people got sick at this couple’s Wedding Reception! Hope when they take it to court the judge makes the catering company cover all medical expenses as well as the cost of the reception since they were responsible for ruining it.smh

Same thing happened at a wedding I attended. We catered BBQ just like these people. Little did we know that the brisket would be undercooked. We all were fine until we went home. At 1 in the morning at home almost all the guests starting throwing up. It was awful. Worst night ever. 5 people in my house got it. We were thinking of suing the company because of how many were affected.

My parents forgot their marriage papers or something of the sort, on the day of their wedding, and had to go back for them. There's a wedding photo of my parents standing at the alter laughing at their mistake. Then my dad got a really bad migraine after the ceremony, and had to miss his own wedding reception.

If you've ever had a bout of food poisoning you know how much suffering these people went thru, it's very dangerous too, some people die from it. I ate food from a chain food restaurant about four years ago and I felt like I was dying. I called my sister and we prayed together and God got me thru it. I used to work with a young lady whose mother died from food poisoning from a family gathering. You never really know where you might get it. I think there's a web site that anyone can post to to record where they ate and got sick.

The only reason why this company may not have any liability, is because of that cheese plate that was brought in. Sad day for a bride

Wow.... this is tragic on many levels! A couples wedding reception was ruined. Dozens and dozens of people got sick. A company could easily be put out of business. In that situation I would say that figuring out what caused the illness would be paramount. I’d hate to hear a company bankrupted if it wasn’t their fault. But I’d also hate for all these people to get slammed with obnoxious medical bills if the caterer dropped the ball!

Sounds like what happened to my school. The whole 5th grade just got sick! Litterally TWO kids were still attending school in one class. In my class there was only 8 kids (including me) and in the last class there was 6 kids. One person fainted and like 3-5 kids went home sick everyday. We had to get our desks bleached and sanitize every hour. When we sat down at lunchwe left like 9 tables empty. Eventually kids began coming back to school but it was HORRIBLE!

I would say that the one lady who mentioned both her kids got sick but didnt mention getting sick herself points to the mac and cheese being the likely culprit. Kids love mac and cheese. Kids arent big into cheese plates.

It might not even be the catering company’s fault it could’ve just been the chef singlehandedly that’s terrifying

Something like this happened before, the couples flower girl who was 4 has a bad stomach virus that she was originally cleared for by a doctor, however she was actually still sick and had quickly spread it to all the guests, no one died but it was definitely a brown weeding

This is really surprising to me because a couple days ago i was at a wedding too and once i got home after the wedding, me and my mom and sister became so ill. Even my sisters friends got sick!!!

I remember my mom telling me when she was younger there was a wedding and most everyone that ate a certain side dish had embarrassingly suffered from explosive diarrhea and vomiting ... she said it was soo nasty.

I would probably start throwing up just because of all the people doing it around me.
